Lucky bugger-all people read this thread (only a special few of us anyways) else everyone would now know my name. My assumed name that is, for my real name is Áine, pronounced awn-ya. Hadda anglicise it upon emigrating to Australia since I didn’t like being called “ayne” which rhymes with “pain” if you get my drift. 😭

I fear people don't realise that the correct pronunciation of WalkingCivilWar is "Waenci'ghour".

Of course he’ll see it and of course he’ll have something less than complimentary to say about it.

All good now anyways. I dried off in the sun before the event started and all that’s left as a reminder of my personal 9/11 is a couple of paw prints on my pastel mint green bag. But it actually looks good. Might be the start of a new fad…

Well they weren’t there before I was bowled over. Safe to say they’re the big clumsy bugger’s prints.

You clearly haven’t seen our Demon Army ponchos. They may not be fashionable or flattering, but they’d withstand any amount of any animal pee. After all, they keep us dry and warm at Casey.

As I said Ernest my first game since the demise of the Tigers, we go to watch our GD every game and I go to lower league matches.

The GD1 won their game today, as they say wins are gainers. She copped a heavy knock to the floor in the last 30 seconds. On the way home she said I know her and her number there will be a next time!

Yep, really seriously deranged.

Seems you’re not the only one who thinks so, NC. I sent pics I had taken with some of our players this morning to my sons. This exchange between two of them…

I guess I am. Of the 25 only three are permanently on the list… Langers, Harmesy and Nibbler. Kidding of course. The three I manufactured are permanent. The other 22 are subject to change.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
