Sans skin? What's the local custom Biffen?

A gentleman never tells Moon.

But they were advertised as something else.

A not so wise Asian lady once told me to be careful over there.

" They'll show you a pig and sell you a dog"

I"Ve bought a few of each I suppose so it evens out.

Had lunch with Biffen today. It's apparently good for the soul to mix with people from the more dubious social strata.

Anyway Biffen chose the location and again it was a dingy little inn in some god forsaken backwater. Well the food!!

It came either drowned in tomato sauce or needed to be, to mask the underlying "taste"

Biffen, to demonstrate the sophistication gained from his recent Asian jaunt, created a scene. He demanded sweet chilli sauce Not only that but it had to be "Kan tong" or some such because that is "orthentic"

FMD ! How humiliating!

I thought it was unnecessary giving someone from Romsey a knife and fork but I was proud of the way you muddled through and tied not to make a mess.

If your hygiene continues to show improvement we may be able to take you somewhere civilised people eat and drink,as long as you promise to keep the food in your area.

Alrhough most of your lunch ended up in your overalls, you at least managed not to sexually harass the staff.

I think the Smith Curse is still with us.

Has any other club lost their most important player? Does any other club have the injury list we have? We lose a game we dominate with poor kicking while the other side can't miss. Similar the next week where we lose by a couple of points after leading with 2 minutes to go and gifting the last goal. Our players get the heaviest suspensions which cost one or both games lost. Ollie continues to dominate. Our so called stars are not starring. Injured players play against us and dominate. Gus injured again.

Etc.

Ok, but I am partial to those brown crackers with the raisins/sultanas. Also no Brazil nuts as not my taste.

Our most optimistic year for over a decade, well for some anyway.

What is this football related rant doing on this thread? Where are the moderators?

However it is a fair comment, but my reply is we have reverted to our normal state over the past 20 years. Last year was an anomaly for so few injuries, our norm for as long as I can remember is 10 to 12 on the injury list with 4 or 5 of those being in the best 24. That is our lot I am afraid, unlike the Dorks, the Cats over the past 10 years.

Sounds a bit like doggies last year.

They kept plugging away got stronger and found a way to win.

We had so many good players but they were exhausted in the last, fumbles, lack of run poor decisions.

some of the poorer performers need to have a good hard look and lift or go back to Casey. Hogan perhaps performs better around the ground where he certainly creates a contest. While he is great one on one he can't match double and triple teams

Pedo Bugg Trengove all have experience at AFL level and could step in and up.

i reckon Jack Watts is showing his class, others should lift just through his presence.

We just have to look really hard at the Dons and beat them next week.

Well, the Smith curse bit might be right. Joel Smith gets a serious injury 15 minutes into his AFL debut, and Tim Smith gets a bad knee 1.5 matches into his career. All we need now is a banana shortage, and we can conclude we are cursed ... :)

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
