Whilst I've been pessimistic for weeks to local companions about Jurrah being out of sorts, I would now like to publicly confirm this for the where too for this prodigious talent

My earlier theory was that he was missing, Davey, Woenammari, and a couple of brothers that are in & out more times than Ron Jeremy in his illustrious career would suggest

What Jurrah needs to do is get back to some pure basics or else hes out of the big league. I really mean it Sean Charles. He could seriously go ... if he doesn't straighten up. Something simply, isnt right.

Should he be relegated for a stint at Casey, perhaps do some fishing up North as all good brothers need to do from time to time, or just take a break and enjoy the beautiful sites of Melbourne. Lets face it, the kid has been expected to produce week in, week out, and to be honest...he looks stale at the present time.

Give him a break Bailey, this is bordering on slave labor (no racial pun intended) expecting to produce brilliance week in week out !

I did see some things today where players would just not look up and see him running down one on one with an extremely nice ready made- sit! That's lack of confidence in him

However some other times I saw him with reasonable opportunities and he either coughed the mark, lost the timing or simply couldnt get to the heights we have seen get too in his short amazing career.

Whilst im a realist and understand he has plenty of more years in him, LJ is a prodigy of sorts make no mistake, but I fear there is something not right and I think if you can guarantee the kid week in, week out that hes in our side, you can get lazy & complacent and I fear we are seeing it now.

Lets hope he can rise from some ordinary performances, but at the moment, Casey.. 2 weeks for mine.

He's a touch player. It's just not there right now.

I'm wondering if Aussie up and leaving has anything to do with it.

Has nothing to do with his 'brothers'....

He is just going through a form slump, nothing more or less. Every single sportsman in every single sport in every single country at one point in their careers has a bad month or 2. Liam will turn it around, let's just persist and not complain about it.

It's about the big picture, we need LJ firing, he needs to find form in the AFL. That is why he was moved onto the ball yesterday, to get him involved a bit more so next week he feels better about himself.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
