I used to swear at the football, but have been clean now since 20th August 2009. Coincidence that that particular day was Robbo's last game??

In all seriousness;

- The C word shouldn't be said at all

- The F word shouldn't be yelled out in general player/umpire bashing. Happy for it to be said to your mate next to you in general conversation, or to oneself out of utter frustration

- Racism is not negotiable (understand my view on the HG45?)

- Personal attacks such as the Milne/Rapist or Krakour/Jail, I'm just not sure where I stand. I have once made comments about Milne, and while I try not to, I can't be certain I wouldn't again.

Other than that, open slather I say. But, if a patron doesn't like it, and they mention it it an adult manner, I'm happy to pipe down.

Obviously the moderating team didn't approve of your post, as it was subsequently removed. The issue has been dealt with and I've long, long since moved on. Perhaps you should as well?

I tell you something HG, being accused as a racist in a public forum is not only inappropriate, it is totally incorrect and offensive. You brought that matter to the attention of the mods by commenting on my post, and they had to respond. I'd like to think that regardless of your current title, they would not be taking any sides in the matter. I had a number of people agree with me that my comments were in no way disrespectful, and your reaction was laughable. If you had any issue with the matter, or took personal offence to it, you could've easily sent me a PM to discuss my comments, and if I saw fit, would've happily re-worded my post.

A simple apology would have been sufficient, however, that would require you admitting you were out of line, which I sadly think that you don't believ is the case.

Now that I have had my say, I'm satisfied to move on. I'd like to think this post remains visible, and isn't deleted by the mods, because I think it is a fairly serious issue that shouldn't be swept under the carpet.

Every poster on here should learn from things like this. While it is an open forum, which will always see disagreements and differences of opinions, and sometimes we get each other pretty fired up, we all have one thing in common, and that's that we are passionate about the great Melbourne Football Club. I honestly don't think any poster on here would say something deliberately to offend.
