So it boils down to your belief that

  1. Fev is unable to overcome his flawed history and will repeat his past negative behavior
  2. the MFC culture is too delicate to cope with a bad Fev
  3. MFC should not take risks to win footy games now
  4. MFC will win a Premiership without taking a risk

As a counter I believe that

  1. Fev is can overcome his flawed history and will perform well for his third team as he seeks redemption
  2. if the MFC culture continues to be mollycoddled it will never mature into the winning culture we all want
  3. MFC should be able to chew gum and walk at the same time, i.e. aspire to win footy games now and build a premiership team
  4. MFC will not win a Premiership via a risk adverse, accountants approach to micro-managed performance graphs, player development and statistics.

Both viewpints are valid, I'll just get more entertainment and fun out of seeing Fev run out for the MFC next year against the Blues...

Please Please stop this Fev talk!! My breakfast is still settling. Fev will still have major problems in the world when he is old and grey, I say that sadly.

I like Fev, and he is not altogether stupid, but he has chemical imbalances that must be managed daily.

He will not play for the MFC...we have young guns growing for that.

I wish Fev all the best, his last interview on Ch 7 was a beauty, but we do not need another "Quick Fix" Recruit. We have had more than enough of them.

Just be a little patient Paul.

Better tell that to Dougy too WYL lol. Anyone hear him on S.E.N. this morning?

Fev has much to prove, mostly to himself. A nice fairytale if he can come out and prove that he's not as washed up/carrying unplayable baggage & scars as is being suggested by all his doomsayers. Be a shame if he wastes all that talent from here.

It's not like he's bashed someone silly etc. Just got a problem with the jolly juice. Aint the first and wont be the last in the AFL to have had that. 25 - 30 years ago his misdemeanors off field wouldn't have rated much.

I for one hopes he can overcome his addiction to the pale ale and whatever other vice/s he might be having problems with, if any, and comes out playing some great AFL footy once again, regardless of the club.

Good luck to him.

He might even kick arse out there IF he makes it back. (As long as it's not ours and he doesn't put a filth/hawks/bombers/crows jumper on lol)

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
