Will anyone be upset if i rape Quarterbrain

Has Frawley got money on this game?

Dean Bailey has got to go. Period. How many times this year have we given the opposition starts? Apart from Hawthorn, all of them. That is the coach. Because what he is saying isn't getting through to the players. Bailey cannot inspire the players, if anything he puts them to sleep. Our players don't play for him, we refuse to man up, our disposal is shithouse, we stuff around with the ball so much, that when we finally decide to kick the ball we cough it up immediately. 4.3 from our turnovers, this is one stat we haven't improved on. Take a long look at it Bailey.

Now to the players. Sure the basket case of a coach is one thing, but desire is another. What is wrong with showing effort? I have long held the belief that half of our list could be replaced by passionate supporters with no football skill whatsoever, as the players clearly aren't that well credentialed in that area either, but at least us long suffering supporters show heart and bleed for the jumper. We have a ton of coaches, all of whom seem to be having little impact. Not good enough, then get rid of them. Simple. I don't care if we are a young team, enough with the bloody excuses, they are for a poor man who refuses to see the truth.

I want results, i want a team that gives a [censored], i want a coach who knows what he's doing.

Talk the talk ... Can't walk the walk

Melbourne grow some ... Bailey , yours are on the block!!

All up to you

chip is the shadow of the man he was last season, back to his first year standards, easily being outmuscled, turned inside out, gotta lift

loving Watts tonight, imagine if he had of played against the suns!!

I no what the problem is. we should ask for a count, I'm sure they have more than 18 on the ground!

JAMES FRAWLEY get your head out of your arse. His first quarter and a bit has been woeful not even running hard looks scared. My favorite player but he is reflecting a one year wonder... Or one that is happy to have an AA next to his name

at least martin n watts r presentin

been really happy with watts

Whatever anybody thinks and where they they think we might be in our evolution, this is simply unacceptable.

Can't stay silent any more. Long-time Demonland reader, first time poster. Now my rant...

We are a club in serious trouble, 4 years into the Bailey plan and we're get smashed by the 2010 wooden spooner???

No forward pressure? No plan to work through a defensive zone? No centre breaks? Another slow start?

After 4 years a lot more questions than answers sadly. I'm one for holding players accountable - but these issues are not player driven.

It's going to be a long year.

Watts starting well. where are our leaders Green, Maloney, Davey, Sylvia have had no effect. So frustrating to watch. we are so far away from being a good side.

Jones took his time giviing it to Watts.

Yeh I noticed that too. He was going to handball, saw it was Watts, and did an about turn, By the time he was forced to dispose, Watts was really under the pump.

Or one that is happy to have an AA next to his name

Fev would never work in the backline.

Scully might be watching this and thinking, the money at GWS might be worth it, cos he will prob win as many ghames upo there.

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons have the Bye next week but then are on the road once again when they come up against the Gold Coast Suns on the Gold Coast in what could be a last ditch effort to salvage their season. Who comes in and who comes out?

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
