Hahaha the abusive JCB PM machine strikes again!

We've all had our fair share.

We have rules in place to prevent this from occuring. Posters who send abusive PMs generally get suspended, so I'd forward any abusive PMs to the moderating team to deal with.

Not sure I would go quite that hard. Beamer is a terrific leader and leads the group well. From all reports it is fairly obvious to see that either Beamer, Davey, Green would be the next captain. Beamer and Green as far as consistent output I would put ahead of Flash. Just goes missing at times, critical times. Beamers weakness is his lack of pace and this really hurts him at times, IMO this is why I don't believe we cant accommodate both he and Jones in the same side as they both lack pace, but Beamer is well ahead of Jones IMO as he is far more consistent. The fact they are trying to turn Jones into a tagger is proof of this for me and he is struggling as a tagger against the very best.

Green leads by example, is consistent for the most part, can play an effective role in almost any spot on the ground, the fact that 3-4 years ago he changed from being an outside player to a running with the flight, putting body on the line type player sees him as our next captain - IMO

The good teams trade good players that are surplus to their needs. I would consider trading Jones for a Travis Boak + 3rd round pick or something of that ilk. Jonesey gets caught holding the ball too often and has no real tricks to his game.

Fair call unles Jones turns into a really good tagger..... a possibility

Did I misread this or did you suggest Jones is worth Boak and a 3rd round pick????

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.     A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players.
