He's been all about the Dees since the Heroes Dinner in 2008 when the club got him back in the fold. I think he mended more than a few bridges that night and hasn't looked back!

Posted

As long as he truely is all about the dees, then let the man have his fill!

Look at all this publicity we are recieving, all good publicity.. what a difference a few wins make.

Posted

If you listen to him on SEN he tries to stay impartial when talking about the Dee's and fails badly at times.

It's nice. Lyon's a bit like that at times too.

Most commentators can't help themselves at some point. Quarters with Hawthorn, Huddo with Geelong (and they didn't even play), Walls with Carlton, Richo with Richmond, the list goes on.

Are we replacing the Doggies as "everyone's second team?" James Brayshaw was saying that there wouldn't be a single person unhappy with last night's performance from the Dees. I'd say there might be a few Lions fans who are a tad upset.

Yeah, it was a strange comment.

Not sure how much they will like us when we are knocking their teams out of the finals, but I think the character of our boys will hold us in good stead.

Few people hate Geelong like they do Hawthorn or Collingwood and I think a lot of it comes from the character of their star players.

We hopefully will be seen in the same light.

even watching the sunday footy show with brad green doing the handball game when james brayshaw said something about the dees flying high

billy yelled out GO THE DEMONS

and it made me think that finally people are acknowledging our wins :)

Really? I heard his 'true love' was Hawthorn.

Get off the bandwagon- ex Demon champion!

He was my favourite Demon besides Robbie and I thought he gave his all for the club.

The love the Ox was my favorite player. I remember the time at the G, i was about 10 waiting out the front of the old demon charge rooms for an autograph. I was so happy because ox stopped and signed my footy card and as he was walking away my little six year old brother yells out " Thanks Netia" Ox just looked back laughed and gave him the thumbs up! lol, Great Bloke!

Bigfooty is one of the more hostile places for supporters to go. You should see the demon-love going on in there. They're all loving how we play, and loving specific players. Moloney, Scullgove, Grimes, Frawley... and for good reason. If I was an opposition supporter, I'd be keen as mustard to attract these kids.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
