Jaded No More 68,976 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Don't think this beast of a man-child is getting enough love on here. He has to be one of the best young KP defenders in the AFL. Week in week out he takes on a variety of players and consistently beats them, then has the balls to back himself and break the lines to set up the play. Frawley is the sort of player that makes me so excited to be a Melbourne supporter. Bloody brilliant!
Chook 15,068 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I posted in the Oh Yeah thread that he is the best defender I have ever seen play for Melbourne, and don't let my young age dilute that statement. Simply amazing today.
Felix 92 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 .. best defender I have ever seen play for Melbourne +1 INDEED. Frawley... AWESOME.

Felix 92 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 listening to sen on the way home from a WIN today, i heard an interesting stat on Frawley... He had his 25 disposals, where his opponents could only muster up 4... yep 4 disposals.
13thflag 0 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Yes young CHIPPA is getting better as the weeks go on.
Gorgoroth 13,216 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Heard that too, only 4 disposals against. BOG today by a mile. Chip is getting better by the week, showed good glimpses last year and is really going great guns this year so far.
Carn dees 108 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Chip (L) How good does he look running out of defence and shrugging of opponents!

RalphiusMaximus 6,112 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Yeah, he was pretty damn good today.

Hellaintabadplacetobe 4,335 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 If he is not an AA this year he will be by next year. Just gets better and better. Someone else commented on how easily he brushes off opponents, he is incredibly strong, and will only get stronger. WOW
jabberwocky 2,301 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Today he was superman, fair dinkum could do no wrong.
DeeM 42 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 another thing i love is ability to back himself, and run, and he isn't slow
dee-luded 2,959 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 another thing i love is ability to back himself, and run, and he isn't slow Another thing I love is his hitting targets & his decision making, both defensively & offensively.
Guest watts04 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Plenty of love here - he will be a man mountain soon The fact he played on Tippett, Burton and the Porpus shows his flexibility
rusty_kingswood 0 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 In the 4th QRT, when he beat his opponent the AFL members wing, shrugged a tackle, and kicked to advantage....it was game changing!! I was with a mate today who has been living in the UK for the past 18 months, and never rated chip that highly, and he was amazed how much he had come along in that time. Were on a winner with him.
Guest 45 double agent Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 were do you start, hes a weapon, chips a young B Lake.
southparkboy 0 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Next week he won't have much of a challenge but I can't wait for our match against brisbane he will have a massive challenge on his hands, it will show his trues talent

Frawley to Brown and Warnock to Fev? Or will Garland be up and running by then and take on Fev? Perhaps Warnock is a better choice on Brown because he's got a bit more size and strength? This is going to be a really interesting game to see how Bailey coaches and the choices he makes.

Yeh I wasn't to sure just thinking that, but I think that they will play Warnock on brown and frawley to fev. They will bring rivers back for that match so he can be the third man in the contest. It will be a real challenge for a young defense. We can stop one but not the other

Yes i got a great view of that run on the members wing-it was fantastic. The whole team played like that in the last Q Great game chip- Keep Richmond Scoreless next week-NO MERCY AT ALL B)
StevenStretch 1 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Sensational player, looking forward to our game V Brisbane to see how he goes on a big power forward thats when the football world will stand up and notice how good he is!

Double team Brown,he is red hot form atm. I'd play Frawley on Brown, Brown will out muscle Warnock, I dont think Warnock has the pace to go with Brown,he wont out bussle him. I'd double team Brown in a contest, maybe have JoelMac try cut across in packs, Garland on 'Fedup' Favolia. Not sure if 'old man' Rivers will be ready to go in time.
