COLLINGWOOD footballer Scott Pendlebury is in hospital after being king-hit outside a Lakes Entrance hotel.

Karma?

Shouldn't he be in Arizona..?

No it is not karma, it is an unfortunate event and I hope he fully recovers - and that the thug is found and dealt with appropriately.

Why Karma?? Becuase he plays for the pies? Hope they get the [censored] weak thug who did it. Too man Hero's out there

Karma for all those Collingwood idiots who joked when Nathan Jones' dad was hit by a Pies fan.

I know it's a cheap shot but we don't know the circumstances and I'm by no means condoning what happened.

I know you're joking, but thats how rumours start.

Not when I say "I wonder what he did."

But not really joking, I seriously wonder what he did.

I don't believe it would've been a random attack.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Totally Agree. No Person deserves that regardless of their football jumper.

To suggest Karma is just a very cheap shot. Poor Form

Get well Scott, and may the offender face the full force of the law.

Pretty ignorant shot and in poor taste and I am glad you condone it.

Its got nothing to do with the Nathan Jones. Stone Age logic at best.

Absolutely. On the news it was said he struck from behind. Other than that we dont know what happened. Regardless of what did happen, its criminal assault and the perpetrator should be subject to the law.

I hope the player recovers soon.

I'm not sure about Karma but he was hit because he played for Collingwood according to the 20yo arrested.

He walked past 4 others to attack his target because he is a Collingwood footballer.

Kids these days can't handle their [censored],a couple of drinks and they're hammered, happens every weekend in town, these losers just shouldn't drink if they can't handle it.

I'd suggest that even at the Pies board they were dead-set ashamed of the treatment of Nathan's Dad.

Shame on us for even jokingly taking this path.

Yes. We should ensure kids develop a high alcohol tolerance from a young age.

Aussie bogan drinking culture at its finest. None of these alcohol related problems have anything to do with that though ;)

A total reprehensible and cowardly act by some low maggot. A Speedy recovery to Pendlebury.

To apportion any idea of kharma is to link the acuser with the act itself.

It doesnt matter to me who the player plays for I am just as upset by this as I would if a MFC player was hit. These [censored] should be taken out and shot. Once you shoot a couple these incidints would drop off dramatically. No doubt this [censored] will get off with just a slap on the wrist knowing our court system. get well soon Scott

I'm actually embarrassed for you.

Not a great moment for us Gippslanders... Lakes Entrance is a lovely spot, don't let it deter you from visiting.

The other problem is that Scott is also a proud Gippslander who hails from Sale.

A real pity to see something like this on my home soil. I have met Scott once or twice and he seems to be a really down to earth nice bloke. Doesn't seem like something that Scott would have initiated.

Anyway, thats my 2 cents.

U clown, have u seen the figures on young people who are killed or seriously injured from king hits! it's not pretty. i work in the medical trade. and scum who do this never take responsibility for their actions. it doesn't matter what the victim said or done before hand, a King hit is a low act. silly post.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
