Williams to Essendon is pretty huge, he was a top forward before he got injured and the Buddy/Roughead tandem came onto the scene. Being a top option up forward for the Dons might work wonders for him and the Bombers. Bring back the shotgun!

Rumours that Sydney might be in on the deal.... Just got a phone call from a close friend who has eyes and ears in AFL circles..... Swans are never far away from a trade deal are they??

If port get 8 9 10 would that weaken they chances of butcher sliding?

I recon theyl grab tapscott and panos the two adelaide boys and butcher.

8, 9 and 16 it will be.....

They will grab Tapscott and Panos if available.... I could almost bet my left [censored] on that one...

Mate your seriously kidding right? Williams is huge?

Dons have lost massively in this deal..Essentially Lovett was traded for Mark Williams...

And from Pick 16 they have been brought back 8 selections to Pick 24 and lost a 23yr old who is a speeding half back in Nash...

Port have now 3 first round draft picks...8, 9 and 16...and a youngster in Nash...

Hawks i still think have lost out...as they now have no first round picks...But have Burgoyne..

Dons fans will be livid..

I've heard the Cats are in on it.

Pretty [censored] off if the AFL have come in mediated. What right do they have to come in and work it out for clubs?

I suppose it disadvantages us, given we have first pick in the PSD and we want deals to fall over, but who cares, it's been such a good trade week.

Better than the usual snooze- fest where a couple of duds get traded at 1:48pm on Friday!

Even if we do nothing tomorrow, we still come out as the biggest and best position holders in the draft.

Yeah, the 4th team is Geelong apparantly. Dont know anymore than that.

I didn't say Williams is huge, I said Williams going to Essendon is pretty huge. Bit of a difference there, anybody who can read could tell you that.

I think this off-season is frying my brain.... I am even entertaining thoughts of Wojcinski for god's sake!!

Let's just get Trengove in a Melbourne jumper so I can relax and take stock of what will be a fantastic era in the history of the MFC....

I need a beer :P

TRADE NEWS: Geelong's current draft picks are now 17, 28, 40, 42 and 56 after its late involvement in Shaun Burgoyne deal

So if the Cats have thrown in Pick 33, to Essendon by all reports, what are they getting in return???

cats swapped their pick 33 for picks 40, 42 and 56.

Clearly i didnt mean physically mate...and neither did you...

I am talking about you considering Williams to Essendon huge...

That was the initial problem..

Ridiculous statement..

Whats 'huge' is that Essendon have compromised themselves..On trading a first round pick for a has been...and inconsistent player in Williams...when clearly they the Dons should be on the look out for my KPP's...

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
