Chad O'Sullivan bad knee injury stretchered off. Centrals all over Sturt too easy getting it into the forward line. Midfield too big and too strong.

Final score: Central District 13.14.92 defeated Sturt 7.12.54.

Disappointing result but Jack Trengove showed in adversity that he is a class footballer. Strong body, class, poise and a good kick. Holds his ground in the contests with much older opponents. This was not his best game. He was much better last week but the wraps on him are 100% accurate. He will be a very, very good footballer.

Luke Norman was rugged, tough, untalented, middle-sized and determined. He was one of several who tried unsuccessfully to stop Dunstall when he kicked about 10 against us in that memorable pre-merge round 22 game in 1996.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week.
