I know this topic is abit late, but who is everyone punting?

Thinking of going up now to the TAB and putting on a couple of multi's anyone think they know whose going to poll well?

The bloody Herald Sun usually have a punting form guide, every year except this one, so its making picking player from other teams to poll the most votes hard.

Who else should I be watching for from other teams?

$10 on Boyd to win

Goodwin most votes crows

then did a few massive multi bets with all of the favourites from each club.. got it up to about 11 or 12 and chucked $10 on it

Grimes WOW!

Twigley looked like she'd come in off the street. Odd award but very deserving winner.

The fact that Riewoldt did not rank higher however irks me

Good night with the boys. Paying for it a little bit today. B)

Our bets came through pretty well. We had an outlay of $780 between us and made a profit of about $380. Split 7 ways, $55 each. Not bad for a bit of fun. Lenny Hayes really came through for us. Dane Swan was a total bust all things considered.

As for Sandy's interview, glad to know it wasnt just me. Strange interview. I am guessing that Channel 7 is televising the golf tournament that Tiger Woods is going to be playing in down here and Sandy was told to slip in a mention of it. Bit of inappropriate cross-promotion. Thats the only way I can explain it because the reference made no sense at all. And if that is the case, then its awful form by Channel 7. Its a great moment in Gablets career and they do that sort of rubbish.

Also, what was with that intro and the kid being presented the Brownlow by Adam Cooney and then on stage he says something like "C'mon mums, let us stay up. Its the Brownlow." Who wrote that and who decided they would run with that as their intro to the Brownlow? Awful.

Nice win Gazza!!

Swan and Deledio SCREWED me big time on all my multi's!! How the hell did Richo beat deledio when he only played like 3 games?? haha

Gotta love Richo. Plays 5 games and is still the best Richmond player this year!!!

He may well go close in their best and fairest....

Always fun to have a laugh at Richmond's expense.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
