Paid.

Bumped it up to $50, too. Seems to be a pattern that everyone gets so excited when it works that they want to do it some more!

I'll be posting info of how to donate the generous amounts you have pledged when I get the info from Susie next week.

Again, this is a great moment for a great club, well done and keep it coming in, lets reduce that amount that Mt Theo themselves have to contribute if we can.

My better half and I in for $200.

I'm off for a beer and a swim, cheers...

Good work fork, fantastic to be involved with this.

Done. Couldnt raise my donation too much more than $5. So $25 it is.

Sleeve, I was thinking maybe a good way to keep track of everyone paying up is to post the reciept number.

Great work!

Now - I don't have a credit card...

Would it be possible for another donor to give me their bank details so I could transfer my donation to them, and just have them add my donation onto theirs when they do it all online?

Fired my $50 in through the website. Hope we manage to crack $4000 by the end of it.

Upped mine to $100 (DN122840), we've got to get it framed as well after all.

Great work fork, Mt Theo, Sleeve and everyone else involved.

I have contacted the Club and am waiting for a call back (all in meetings - get Buckley (just joking)). I have given the site address for them to look at the thread and get the history and feel the emotion for themselves. Will keep you all posted as things happen.

Mick - have you been able to sort this out yet? I'm heading out but if you want to PM me if you've had no luck, I'll send you my bank details through this afternoon. I was about to pay for my donation now but I'll wait to see if I have to include yours.

Great news. The Club are thrilled about was has happened. They feel that it would be better to actually present it to someone (Susie?) from the Mt. Theo organisation at a Melbourne game here in Melbourne at a Presidents lunch. They will get the jumper framed with a plaque.

So I don't think this can all be organised by next Saturday and something else is happening at the Pres lunch the following game Port Adelaide so it may have to be the Richmond game. The Club are also able to get some footballs up to the Yuendumu Football Club.

Questions are:1. because of the difficulty of getting someone to go up to the community do we all agree that it be presented to Mt Theo at the Presidents lunch.

2. What do we want on the plaque. I presume both Demonland and Demonology?

3. Can we get Jet Star /Qantas to donate a ticket for Susie to come down?

Has anyone any thoughts.

I will also let those on Demonology know what is going on.

I think it should have Demonland/Demonology

Good luck getting a free flight :)

If you could get it presented to a representative of the Mt Theo Community at the presidents lunch that would be awesome.

Donated.

Well done to everyone.

Good work fork / Sleeve.

I would have loved to be able to donate more.

Great work everyone

Hi Gang,

Back in Australia and stoked to see all this money flying in to Mt Theo. Thanks to everyone for the messages of thanks and support but it must be said that this was a simple idea until you all got behind it. This kind of feels like a movement now, a rush of support with heart from us the supporters to liam, mt theo, the warlpiri mob and the club.

I apologize to people I haven't been able to get back to who have sent personal messages. I will respond asap. Speaking to a number of people today and will report back when things have been formalized. In the meantime keep the money and goodwill rolling. Can't answer all questions just yet.

Well done.

Can someone copy this onto 'ology for me?

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
