I've had only heartache at Subi games. Last season I was sitting among Dockers supporters when we were all over them in the first quarter, only to come to a halt after quarter time. I'm hoping for a less painful experience this time (& will be among the Melbourne supporters).

Yep! I will be there. Party Saturday and Sunday nights. And footy in between. Cant wait!

I have been to Subi once to see the Eagles and Dockers in the NAB Cup. Very ordinary! No atomosphere at all.

Expecting a ripper next week though!

Yes, got my ticket from the Western Dees today, too. Can't go to the function on Friday -- work! -- but am looking forward to being among MFC supporters at the game &, I hope, at the function in the Subi rooms afterwards (am craving some Demon talk). Is it free?

Yeah I'm flying over for the game sunday morning. Coming straight home that night. Sitting at the city end. Might be a bit boring on my own. Oh well, such is life :-)

yep, got my tickets from the western dee's today, also off to the Friday night dinner with the team.

Darkhorse, hope you can give us a report on the Friday dinner. Kicking myself I can't go, would love to hear RDB.

Hope to see a few Demons on Sunday. Think the Western Dees seats are at the city end.

I shall also be at subi sunday and the pre game function on the friday. Going with 4 eagles mates and my missus who supports collingwood.

This is the one game, apart from QB we have to win. I want to be the most ungracious winner in the history of sports. The losers shall be booed and heckled til my throat is dry and sore...

Come on boys, get up.

Also i'm pretty sure there is no post match function due to the boys flying straight out, or so says the westerndemons site and joan is usually pretty onto it.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9.
