I don't think there's any doubt that Adelaide are ahead of us. Their senior players are far better than ours (Goodwin, McLeod, Edwards, Thompson, Rutten, Bock, Burton), they have a quality group of young- to mid-20s (van Berlo, Vince, Johncock, Porplyzia, Stevens) and they have some gun kids coming through too (Walker, Dangerfield, Petrenko). We will not finish ahead of Adelaide for three or fours years at least. Pains me to say this, but it's true. Many people in Melbourne are underestimating Adelaide.

Yeah you're right, Adelaide's a better team than I gave them credit for. Dangerfield is a gun, Petrenko and Walker look the part too. Porplyzia's still young as well.

So what you're saying is that we are in front of all teams except Geelong, Hawthorn, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs, Carlton and Richmond? I would say that Essendon, Port Adelaide, Brisbane, possibly Adelaide as well are all in front of us.

So your saying they will win a flag before us? I dont think so for the reason that we are well and truly in the middle of re-building as they haven't really began like we have. They still have quite a bit to do.

I don't like the idea of Premiership clocks and windows. The aim should be to try and create the best team possible for now and into the future, if they win, they win if they don't they don't. There's no point trying to predict things all the time, it just creates unnecessary pressure when the so-called window is open and allows for standards to be dropped when the clock is at one, or whatever it is.

I think our premiership clock is an analogue one (circa '64) and is a wind up one!!

We are ahead of ND as his premiership clock has stopped altogether. Howevere I think it has somehow managed to not even be correct twice a day as I dont recalll it ever having told the correct time in 10 years! :blink:

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.     Some veteran Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock to bring you the following observations from another Preseason Training Session.     Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9.
