I have gone cold on Prismall. Knee injuries are such funny things. I think we should let him sign a 1 year deal with the cats, let them rehab him, hopefully he plays a few games for their reserves late next year, and then if we still want/need him, we chase him then

The thing nobody seems to pick up on is that players that have knee reco's take TWO years to recover fully - 1 year to get healthy, then 1 year to get used to playing again but on a new knee.

That first year back they are only a shade of the player they were before.

After that 1st year back its the perfect time to pounce - trade value is low due to an average year and they are about to hit some form.

Also another reason why we should not take him - wait 2 years for him to be back to normal, but then out of contract again? no thanks.

if geelong only offer him a 1 year contract he will be interested in moving clubs, especially if we offer him more.

1 year goes against everything geelong have claimed in the media about expecting him to be part of the future, and recovering and standing by him.

You've expressed interest in getting Tom Williams, Robbie Warnock, Brent Prismall, thre may have been one or two others.....I can't see how we can possibly get all of these in this trade period coming.

and when you have the picks we do. it is possible to get all 3. but we wont

I do believe the club has stated that they would not trade away their early picks in the Nat draft. Im guessing that the only trading will be done eitheer latish in ND or in PSD.
