That's unbelievable... I can't believe he came back on. WHat an effort!!!

Green the favourite for the Bluey now.

And in a sense I'm glad, because these mids that are screaming out for a game will now automatically get one. And everyone wins... Bailey gets his kids in, they get games, the fans are happy particularly since the kids got us there on the weekend.

It's not a GOOD thing exactly, but since Brock gets a full pre-season in, it's not like we're losing a shot at the flag...

I am having the same surgery as Brock in August.

It is a fairly simple operation, but he will need to be in plaster for 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how it heals and how bad it is when they get into the operation.

After that he will of course do all the rehab and be fine for next year.

It is the sort of injury where you can put up with the pain and play, but the ligaments will never heal.

Ligaments, once they stretch, dont go back. They need to be pulled back and tightened. Surgery is the only way they can heal.

Also i love how he gets surgery straight away, while i, despite having private cover, need to wait 2 months to get in.

(not that i want him to have wait)

another thing that may impact on mclean is his leadership credentials, i.e. the capataincy. He is a great leader, but if he misses the season he could be overlooked in favor of someone who has played the whole year, e.g. bruce or jones... or even the dreaded miller (see yesterdays herald sun convo between mark robinson and the other guy).

Maybe Kezz, but long term injuries to Beamer and Riv havn't stopped their elevation to the leadership group.
