You missed my point. Rich is still a risk, every player drafted is, but my other main issue was not making a decision too early. I've always said that it's best to wait untill the end of the carnival and season was over before deciding.

I haven't seen all the games yet and I still want to see how they play for the rest of the season before deciding

Nicholas Naitanui shows clubs he's a true thoroughbread

Interesting comments by Dennis the menace on the telly too. He seems to have the Vibe clubs arent exactly lining up for him.. Im not sure that its Naita not being good..as much as it is Rich, Watts and a handful of others are coming on quicker....all things are relative arent they ..

Yeah definately interesting listening yesterday. Ox seemed convinced West Coast would jump on him, but there certainly have been a lot of doubts raised about how much of that potential will be realised. Brucey seemed to echo Cometti's thoughts that teams were hoping that someone else would take the risk first. Watt's and Rich are starting from a good football base (awareness-wise) and Nick Nat has been playing catch right from the start. The big question is will he catch up to the rest, and if he does, wil he surpass them. High risk, high reward? I'm still leaning towards Watt's.

Having seen the game, and taped it, I plan to watch it again by the way, Naitanui does look a top 5 pick. Geez he can jump! He is a goer, and plenty of upside in him. The game didn't allow Watts to have a great game. But that's how WA planned it anyway. But what Watts did, he did do well. Mitch Banner looked good. Rich was lively, but not prominent, but credit must be given to his opponent...

Look, this year's draft has great depth. The top 8 are all good.
