  1. That was very subtle.......
  2. Thanks KCI am expecting Sandringham to have a late surge and we will have a close finish like most weeks.
  3. I hoped to see Stark in the bests in the development team. I see this kid as another Mckenzie type - goes in hard but lacks the potential to be a great player. I am hoping someone disagrees with me for he was our first rookie pick. Anyone know anything or is it way to early considering he has been injured?
  4. Great work good on you! ......... but I think Melbourne needs to start repaying some faith (results) before I join up
  5. Nope, I believe that is Jack Watt's fault
  6. Your display picture captures this moment perfectly!
  7. He is probably [censored] off with Neeld for not making him captain
  8. did you really need to get that off your chest at 12:21am? ...Anyway I for one have no idea what Connolly brings to the table and I don't think many of us (demonlanders) know much when it comes to the inner sanctum. We can't come to any conclusions without some facts or at least insights from people in the inner sanctum - any demonlanders have any first hand insight into Connolly?
  9. Thats one pathetic interchange! Best outcome is probably: Strauss, Fitzy, Kent and Pedersen
  10. Melbourne v Hawthorn MCG, Sunday June 2, 3.20pm AEST MELBOURNE In: D.Rodan, J.Macdonald, J.Strauss, J.Spencer, J.Fitzpatrick, C.Pedersen, D.Kent Out: S.Byrnes (wrist), J.Magner, N.Jetta, M.Gawn HAWTHORN In: M.Osborne, D.Hale, G.Birchall, S.Savage Out: J.Gunston (calf)
  11. What a [censored] - can we please delete this thread now! He only digs the hole deeper by trying to defend it - He is now going to be investigated by the AFL. Radio Comments: www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/afl/eddie-mcguire-apologises-to-adam-goodes-over-king-kong-remark/story-fnca0u4y-1226652825692
  12. Thanks for the laugh - needed it
  13. I thought this topic would come back from the dead. Worth a mid to late pick if he is still there. We are in the position where we have to take risks and pull them off in order to stay alive. If any club shoot take the punt on him it is us - We will just have to keep two eyes on him and maybe a contract with a clause.
  14. To be honest I just don't know much when it comes to coaches. I just want an experienced AFL coach who is not past it. I think the game evolves so quickly that if one is out of the game for to long they it may pass them and also some may be to old fashioned to adapt to the new game style. Ratten, Roos, Williams? - I don't know. Just get someone that is firm but loveable (Malthouse), Someone up to date with the modern game and a coach that wants to implement an exciting brand of footy (so opposite of Neeld then)
  15. Is there any chance that we will have a new coach before seasons end or are we just looking at an interim coach? (Viney? - if so whats the point?). If we do plan to bring in a new coach before seasons end then we will have to go through all the selection process again and that would take time and then the coach would want to change things at the club (gameplan etc.). I just can't see it happening unless we have already talked to possible coaches (Ratten etc.) then the bye would have to be the time to do it. But you have to ask yourself what would be better for the coach - to come in midway through a season or at seasons end where they can make changes and have more of a clean slate. This is the last roll of the dice for Melbourne... so have to get it right
  16. Highlights are up on the MFC website http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2013-05-27/vfl-rd-7-highlights
  17. I was just joking around - hope I didn't offend you. I admire your stamina
  18. Well if I was your psychologist I would say you are either a very loyal person or have no life outside of football I think that pretty much sums it up for most demonlanders
  19. Wow - you put Tynan, Davis, Magner, Pedersen and Sellar ahead of Dunn, Strauss, Tapscott and Mckenzie?
  20. I won't attend games not because Neeld is coach but because we suck and are boring to watch (not worth wasting time going to matches and getting depressed)
  21. I don't mind waiting - as long as there are signs of continual improvement. Since Neeld has come to the club we have only got worse. Neeld is no fast route to success anyway. We are the only club going through a double - triple rebuild though
  22. Someone should send this to Neeld: Scott slams Roos' lack of mental toughness ..... after a 1 point loss to Adelaide http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-05-26/brad-scott-postmatch
  23. We got rid of 14 players last year - we can't get rid of the whole list. If we have any chance of a furure it is by giving the players and supporters a clean slate (hope) and that starts with the coach leaving - then players/coaches rs with bad attituteds etc.
  24. I don't think he will be sacked this season - I wish he would just go though but we would have to find a coach willing to coach us. Then there is all the transitioning with the new coach etc (in the middle of the season)
  25. Bump. Anyone think that Neeld would have been sacked by now if we lost to GWS?
