If we get Roos and we don't improve then I will accept that it's not the coach but the players and the culture that has been formed over the last few years. If we get Roos I will no longer fuel anti coach threads even if our performance is poor because by then I will probably be in a sea of black and white with no teeth and cheering on the filth....

He was drafted at pick 36 from memory although was a speculative pick. Only played 3 games in VFL last year due to injury and I don't think he has had a full preseason yet. Similar to Evans situation (needs injury free year before we can judge)

Then we wouldn't have a kick in the whole game. At least we might win a stat (handballs)

Craig did recently say he likes versatility (Watts) and maybe he was experimenting and testing Davis. You can learn about defending from being a forward I guess. Although we don't really need another tall forward. It's funny how this time last year Neeld was so desperate for key forwards that he was playing players like Garland and Rivers in the forward.

Bit off topic but any news on Bennell? I wish we kept him - such a talent! Still remember that run along the wing and goal against Sydney (when we won by like 70) and his one hand pick up in a contested situation, on the run and in pouring rain when everyone couldn't pick it up. I bet you anything that if he had been drafted by a successful club he would be an absolute freak!

Now Aaron Davey can retire at the end of the year and become the kicking coach!

Maybe with this new development program that might actually teach the players how to kick a footy! Don't give up on Davis yet - at worse he can be a depth player or have some trade value (would rather have players like Davis than Gilles and Sellar who virtually have no hope of improving)

To be honest Bruce is a distant memory for me. All I can remember was that he liked having space on the wing and liked to run slowly waiting for an opposition to come to him and then he would handball over the oppositions head to a team mate. (Or am I just making that up? ... seems like a life time ago)

We can't just put the team on ice for another year! We need action and we need it now! I am already worried that Craig is currently implementing a game style that will only be scraped by the next coach (waste of time). Time is of the essence not just for the supporters but the players and club.

Would like to see have seen Evans play a few more games this season (I really don't know where I stand with him). He came out and had a couple really good games and then dropped a bit (maybe he needed a rest or the opposition begun to watch him) Where do others see him? (a definite part of our future or is it to early to tell?)

Where do people see Worsfold fitting in (if he doesn't re-sign) Would he be the second best option behind Paul Roos? I personally think after 13 years he might need a years break (rejuvenate his passion for coaching)

Good point - what did we have in 2011 that we don't have now?Our players have more games under their belts and we drafted more talent. I guess we lost the Jamar Moloney combo and an offensive game plan? I genuinely believe with an improve midfield we will improve tenfold.

Haha yer ..... Its stuff like that that he says and his appearance that makes him look a lot more likeable and personal than Neeld. The fact that he continues these reports even now that he is coach I think says something about him.

We definitely have the rebounding defenders in Frawley, Garland and I think Strauss would make a great rebounder (pace and kicking). Then in centre we have Watts and Blease to get the ball forward quick (no handballing sideways to still players)

I agree get it in quick before the opposition have time to flood the backline and stop all of Hogan, Dawes, Clark and Fitzy all leading in different direction into open space.
