  1. I don't think we will truly know until he gets to show his wares in the seniors.
  2. What's scary is on average the last 4-5 years we've cleared out 11 players a year and how much garbage still remains on our list. I thought Dunn was brilliant last year(dropped off a little towards the end of the season). To be honest I've only been able to watch two games this year due to work commitments and living in Sydney, in those I thought he's been ok, but yeah not where he was at last year. I think as a whole were fighting it out more as a team. A back six I had in one of my early teams before the season started went something like JETTA FROST DUNN SALEM TMAC TOUMPAS That is still a possibility for next year.
  3. I thought Roos said a couple of weeks ago that Jetta had sufferers a couple of knocks over a short timeframe.
  4. I agree with all that, who have we let go in the past couple of seasons that we've come to regret? Stef Martin, that's about it. Yes some were high draft picks, we stuffed up its time to move on.
  5. Didnt see the game, haven't had time to read gameday thread yet so serious question.....JKH, what happened?
  6. They will keep the season opener but don't deserve any Friday night action.
  7. Yeah to be fair we didn't finish the year well and knew about the Bulldogs after the exodus.
  8. They have a lot of good kids, plus a few who haven't played. The win over the Bombers took most by surprise but wins over Saints/lions/Carlton aren't an accurate gauge. Next week interesting vs Geelong. A team on the way up v one on the way down.
  9. True but when Geelong beat Richmond the focus will turn.
  10. Yep, they've got Geelong, Richmond, GC, North then us. North will give them a physical game if nothing else then they ours for the taking. Viney and Jetta will be back and barring no further injuries were a massive chance.
  11. Not based tonight's game he's not. Long way off his best. Micks got the record now it's time to go, clearly not working.
  12. Long road for Carlton, if they were to grow some and put a Gibbs/Murphy on the trade table who would be interested? They're not worth a first rounder. I think teams would rather back themselves in the draft.
  13. Yep, we should beat both this year. Gibbs and Murphy, more worried about their hair, two wasted picks, no leadership.
  14. "He runs around to get the angle".....he was straight in bloody front.
  15. I keep reading//hearing that Grimes/McKenzie are being rewarded for their efforts at Casey. Let's not loose sight that if not for injurys they wouldn't be in the side at all.
  16. The top 4 sides all have star players but it's their bottom 5-6 which can often prove the difference. Not talking about getting themselves up for a one off cameo but being able to play at a consistent level, stepping straight in and playing their role. But as we know we have next to no depth, we are still 1-2 years away from that.
  17. Never worked out how to post links but on the AFL they have a story about the international draft combine. Standing at 201cm Jalen Carethers has almost broken the 20 metre sprint at 2.79 seconds. Looks quite athletic and ready to play. A year at Casy.....
  18. Considering what the Dockers did to the Swans and Eagles in their respective first qtrs it will interesting to see what happens. Stating the bleeding obvious we can't follow suite.
  19. I think GWS at $2.45 is worth a look against the Eagles. Eagles lost to the dogs, beat Carlton, got flogged by Freo(don't worry about the final score, Freo had put the cue away knowing they had Sydney the following week) then they beat the Lions. They are the crows of last week. They've beaten no one of value.
  20. Lets see how the whole team goes, if the delivery is poor.....
