How's Weideman tracking physically? Will another pre season be enough for him? Then I look at a Darcy Moore ...

Has the tools as in what Watts has? Not even close.

Exactly....

Cant agree on this one, Vickery is an out the back merchant, borderline soft. I think Daw has better ruck work, a better contested mark (and that's before Friday night) more physical presence, lays a good tackle, and better disposal. He is prone to the occasional brain fade, let McCartney have a full pre season with him.

How long until The Weed and Hughlett are ready? Another 12 months? Cut the crap and go and get Majak Daw for two years. Watts plays permanently forward. Dawes to be delisted as seasons end. Daw to rotate with Gawn in the ruck 3rd fwd.

We've learnt from the Sydney game.... When the ball is deep in our defensive 50 we deploy a goalkeeper.

Big body. Premiership player. Provides a contest. Brings ball to ground. Great public speaker. Each of those are worth 100k each. -

We all hope it is but he needs a body of work. 1 goal from his 4 matches this year, too late for mine. I'd like to see Spencer given a game, actually make that 6. -

Was thinking as much BBO, is he over his illness? More inclined to give him another 1 year extension and delist Dawes come years end. -

Read an article on club website where Roos said "we feel that when Watts goes into the ruck, Jesse is often one out". How long until the Weed is ready? Would Spencer be a better option? Leave Watts permanently up fwd.... -
Experiment time with our key position players is over.

How do the Hawks get a free ride from the league? Swans are the ones receiving "player retention" allowance. The same allowance that will help them as they try to lure Tmac away from us, stuff them. -
Is Roos our best coach since Norm Smith?
Bombay Airconditioning replied to PaulRB's topic in Melbourne Demons
We won't fully appreciate how good a job Roos has done for another season or two. -
How do we get Prestia AND Hibberd to the club?
Bombay Airconditioning replied to watchtheeyes's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would take Mitchell not that he would want to come to us. Let's say Mitchell goes to the Hawks, and Tmac asks to be traded to Sydney, what does that leave us with, a pick? Could we land a player from the Hawks? R-Jay I get what you're saying with regards to "tall for a tall" but it doesn't always work that way. If we are going to lose Tmac I want an established player in return. -

Beating the Saints, Suns, Carlton, Port (away) and one of Eagles, Hawks, Cats would be massive. -
Salem, Brayshaw, Oliver and Wagner didn't play on the weekend, Melksham is good to go next year plus we could trade for a player. Good luck to him but I personally don't see where he fits in.

Getting a contract doesn't guarantee getting a game, if everyone is available he's not best 22. I think he try his luck elsewhere.

I would argue pre "Roos" every interstate game we had a number of players who ran out knowing we would lose. Im not saying they didn't try but they knew they were never in it.
