  1. Ok we’re getting off track here. I would like a fwd that can mark on the edge of 50, turn, take one step and load up. Walker and Franklin have done that repeatedly, Hogan cant. As for Franklin being the best fwd of the last 25 years, on goals kicked yes he is but I’d personally take Jono Brown in his prime.
  2. Thanks, however I don’t agree with Hogan. I don’t think he’s ever been able / confident over 40 metres. I’d love a fwd like Tex or Franklin than can regularly slot them from outside 50.
  3. All I know about any potential draftees is from what I read on here plus on the AFL website. How good are these mids? When did we last have a key fwd that could take a contested mark and kick them from outside 50? Neitz?
  4. It’s about balance. We’ve struggled to score for 3 years. An understanding of when to move it quickly is lacking, also our fwd line is so congested and our smalls are often not in the positions.
  5. We’ve had a pretty strong side for years, players like Harmes & Jordan couldn’t get a game. We need to remember there are 18 teams, some players drafted here knew from the outset they weren’t going to be starting 22. Who did we miss out on? Additionally if a kids been good enough they’ve played as we’ve seen with McVee. There’s only so much talent in the competition, this is why a 19th & 20th team will not work.
  6. Fair call, I’m tired….didn’t consider that.
  7. As for a trade not being able to get done. I don’t think that was the case. Jeremy Cameron went to Geelong for picks 15, 18 & 25. Dangerfield went to Geelong for picks 9, 28 & Dean Gore. If Trac still wanted to be traded I think a deal would of gotten done, we wouldn’t of liked it but it would of got done.
  8. How much of this can be attributed to the Max Factor?
  9. Not sure if already mentioned but from the little I’ve heard / read Roffey did a great impression of Kimberly Cheadle at her congress hearing. She subsequently resigned shortly afterwards.
  10. And a lot of handballs. We need elite users of the ball by foot. Speed to boot would be a massive plus.
  11. They need more than Shai Bolton.
  12. Some ordinary skills and umpiring on display.
  13. Trac for TDK and 1st rd pick. Oliver for SDK and a pick. Use our 1st pick on best mid available. Carltons 1st plus other Picks for another mid?
  14. The part we don’t know is what they’ll be earning in the final years of their contracts. They both would have cleaned up already so it could be quite low.
  15. Just texted my brother who’s a North supporter, he simply retired “retire his run up as well”.
  16. But not forgotten, he stood tall when it mattered. I still remember JB’S call, Benny Brown after Fritsch kicked back to back goals. Bugger it, I’m going to watch the GF highlights now.
  17. Melksham to be given another year, same for TMac. Tomlinson I’d give another year as well if list spots allow.
  18. Finally some good news. Undoubtably the greatest ruck in our lifetime.
  19. North must fold the year Tassie enters.
  20. Weid getting a game ahead of Wright, what happened?
  21. Apologies I’ve just finished a massive week so have not read as much as I normally would have. Petracca comes across as an intelligent & articulate operator. He would have been fully aware of the consequences of his actions. There’s more at play here.
  22. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with his injury. I would have thought a combination of the game plan along with players not demonstrating the required level of professionalism due to other factors.
  23. What if he already has and nothing has happened?
