Time to go Goody?
The remainder of this season should be about a few things, one of them is push Essendon out to at least pick 6.

Time to go Goody?
Walk away a legend Simon, no shame in saying you’ve taken this list as far as you can. You’ve won a premiership as a coach and two as a player, something most can only dream off. The money’s in the bank and you’re set for life. Thanks for the memories.

- Time to start a rebuild?
Needs to go to the Eagles for they to be a chance.- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
On the contrary, if he’s not gone by then he hopefully will be after.- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Rounds 1 - 3 losses put down to key players missing. Round 4 was all Selwyn’s fault. What will it be tonight?- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Pay him out.- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Un defendable stat.- NON-MFC: Round 05
Hipwood putting on a clinic in the second half.- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
I think we’ll win and would like a win for Langford and Lindsay but sadly our season is already cooked.- GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
We can’t be accused of tanking.- Bayley becomes a dad
Not sure why there was a need to write this. I’m a massive fan of Fritsch and have been going into bat for him on here but comments like these I find amusing. Playing AFL and all that come with it is a two way street. I’d say his form slump has nothing to do with the birth of his son but more to do with football related issues. Are all our fwds partners expecting to give birth in coming weeks? As mentioned before hopefully we’ve got another father / son on our hands. Congratulations to Bayley and his partner, starting a family is an exciting time in one’s life.- NON-MFC: Round 05
My mate who supports Collingwood textured me straight after the game and said so you rate us top 4 now. I said no but top 6 yes. Hawks, GWS, Lions, Cats top 4 for me. Then Pies, Dogs, 7 -8 will be between Saints, Crows, Suns, Freo but won’t make the prelim. Beat the Lions and it’s a conversation but not until then, he did acknowledge that Dogs were robbed a few weeks ago when they played them. 5 weeks in and it’s season over for 8 teams for various reasons.- NON-MFC: Round 05
I know it’s a long season but let’s not forget GWS dismantling Collingwood in rd 0. It’s the coach / ing, watching Collingwood last week against Carlton and tonight, they don’t have elite kicks on every line and many of their fwd 50 entries including that last goal to Hill were scrappy. They have two clutch smalls in Elliot and Hill and three honest battlers in Miohcheck, Membret and McStay, but as Sam Newman said many years ago, “If you don’t have the best tall fwds getting around at least give them a chance by getting it in quickly” and that’s what Collingwood do so well.- NON-MFC: Round 05
We’re not playing as a team, some experienced players have seemingly checked out, some players playing for their careers and some just finding their feet.- NON-MFC: Round 05
Fwds don’t fire it’s a fwd line coach issue. Sad but true.- NON-MFC: Round 05
All with DeGoey, Houston, Goulden and Mills missing. How on earth can they play anything resembling a gameplan with key players out.- NON-MFC: Round 05
It’s not just our entries inside fwd 50, it’s our players inability to create space for each other, look at Adelaide v Geelong last night. Ours smalls are seemingly out of position more often than not.- Time to go Goody?
For me if it purely down to a mass of key players injured I think a lot of us would cut him some slack (then again look at the Dogs) but our issues seem to be far greater than that. In any scenario he gets paid out, i’d have more respect if he was to walk away.- Time to go Goody?
Posters have thrown up all kinds of stats and comparisons in defence of Goodwin. We’re all aware of the what’s happened over the last few years but end of the day footy is a results driven business and we’re going backwards at a rate of knots. Our problems are far greater than missing some players due to injury. It’s over, thanks for everything you’ve done Simon. Here’s your payout, onwards and upwards.- Kicking Inside 50
All of those examples shown were poor to do with poor decision making not lack of skill. - Time to start a rebuild?
