I agree with the Hoskin-Elliott situation and the easy misses but I thought he was one of few that had some impact on Saturday. He had 18 possessions, a couple of goals, 8 score involments including 3 goal assists along with 5 tackles.

I don't want to hear " Hopefully it burns in the guts all summer." All I want to hear is that effort was UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Well, this is the third morning in a row that I have woken up with burning in my guts and I'm afraid it won't go away anytime soon.

Same for me, mood was lifted for about 80 minutes then I suddenly realised, both seasons over!

I tried watching the press conference but turned it off after 20 seconds, not due to any disrespect to Nate, but that press conference should have been about us embarking on our first finals campaign in 11 years. I'm feeling a whole range of emotions right now and the start of the video just made me feel empty cause that man deserves a lot more than this club has given him. We all deal with scenarios differently and some move on quicker than others, as my emotions slowly dissipate I will be able to concentrate on the future of this club in the months ahead but as it stands right now for me, the next 5 weeks will be excruciating.

That was a waste. Fundamentals? For crying out loud, tell us how you got it so wrong in the lead up to the game. What were you doing all week? Learn and move on? Losing to Freo, North x2 and Hawthorn tought you nothing?

This is the only thing that concerns me right now, the rest we have heard time and time again. Why didn't it happen?

Yeah, usually Fox sports is on to these things quickly and nothing mentioned on there.

Usually by now we would have a coaches report, or even all the goals video which mind you should be replaced by an all the tackles video, would be a lot shorter.

Yep, maybe I'm clutching at straws and hindsight is a wonderful thing but I believe the club failed in the week leading up to the game to get these guys focused. I know the telethon on the footy show is for a great cause but watching Max hug Goldsack last Thursday night didn't sit well with me. Regardless of what happened earlier on the year we had one single objective and we failed miserably on Saturday. Even when the boys came out for their usual kick and snaps at goals prior to their main warm-up it didn't sit right with me, I know it's great for us the fans and our kids but they have been kind enough all season with clinics and so forth. Maybe I'm digging too deep for answers but how can we get it so wrong in what was a massive statement game for the club?
