Great call on the former Bomber boys, although to me Hibberd slowed a bit the last few weeks his commitment cannot be questioned. Big pat on the back for the Milkshake, his second half of the year was outstanding and one of handful that tried to win the game for us on Saturday. These two missed a year of football and showed some of our boys on how to play like it's their last.

Got nothing mate, this is as bad a feeling as the one I felt after my high school sweetheart dumped me.
-
God I would love to have access to a dump truck full of chicken turd right now and I know exactly where I would dump it.
-
I'm going for Max dressed up as an ump in some pub in Richmond.

Thanks, I would have guessed 5 tops without looking back, gosh this hurts!

No one OWES you anything in this sport, it's brutal and we have gone to a whole new level of disappointment. This is utter bull$hi t!!!

Wow, I still can't believe this horrible feeling in my gut exists nearly two days on and I'm afraid it won't go away any time soon. Can't bear to watch the next 4 weeks of football in all honesty. How many weeks out of the 23 did we spend out of the 8? It doesn't really matter though does it Simon Goodwin, after all, it matters where you sit at the end of the 23 weeks.

WTF? It was the Pies fans booing I thought.

Right now, this sums it up for me and that's my only concern. The talk of which players should be axed or traded will come in October and we will have plenty of time to discuss all summer. Some of the players people want out are the reason we won 12 games this year and some of them very exciting but I want answers on what happened between 1.45pm and 2.15pm yesterday.
-
Yep, no Melbourne logo when you click the play button.
-
I was surpised to receive it also but i bet you the person that clicked send, will be the first person delisted in the off season.
-
Livid alright, also probably filthy at himself for not getting up for yesterdays game judging by his character and he shouldn't be.
-
I'm inclined to agree on the Viney statement. Probably the only one that has punched holes in his walls tonight.
-
Two things from yesterday will haunt me all summer. 1. What attributed to that horrid start yesterday? Players weren't mentally on? If no, why the F%#K not? 2. If yes, what kind of a plan did the coaches come up with all week to allow that friggin club to have 11 scoring shots on us in the first quarter? I won't go as far back as early in the season to lament cause I'm officially drained right now because there was an opportunity yesterday regardless of close encounters earlier and we screwed it up good and proper.

The club should ban mad Monday, any player caught drinking out tomorrow shall rot at Casey for the first 6 weeks of the season. They can drink at home all they want but going out in public after this weekends debacle would just be spitting in our faces.
-
Oh F#%K this!!! Why the tease? Not directed at you JTR.
-
Goodwin is saying to himself, " I just figured out where we are sitting after round 23." Pffft!!!!!
-
I can't handle the torture!!!

Made an oath I would not watch the Adelaide game, but I will be jumping on here every few minutes for better commentary. You guys might make me feel that little bit better.
-
I'm wondering if the players are watching it together somewhere or if they are going on about their usual daily routine of social media surfing?
-
This could possibly be the worst weekend for Melbourne fans in a long time, for me it is anyway. We have finally won more games than lost since 06 and now we are subjected to torment watching what other teams do and jumping us in the process. As if yesterday wasn't bad enough, I can see the footy gods producing a 21 point win to the Eagles.

Ballantyne to kick the winner after the siren!!! That's what I was told from my tarot reading this morning.
-
Atrocious first quarter, missed chances in the second and what peeved me most after that was when we got within 8 points 15 minutes into the last we allowed the Pies the next four scoring shots and didn't register a score ourselves until the end. You would think we had all the momentum at that stage and for no one to step up in the latter part of the game was very disappointing. T Mac was forward in the second half but how did he end up at full back taking a kick in and hitting Cox lace out? The coaches have a lot to answer for in terms of the structures yesterday. What the f%#k were they doing all week? Im just sick of the s**t they keep spinning to us after insipid performances like that.

The only reason I wanted to play Richmond in a final and I never mentioned as such, is not because we would smash them off the park but I haven't been to a final in 11 years and what better than a packed MCG with two Melbourne clubs going at it. My first final was the elimination in 1988 as an 11yr old and I still remember the buzz after the siren. My kids are at that age now and I joined them up two seasons ago and they've become more entrenched in the red and blue with each game they have been to. Their first final in Melbourne would have been something special for all 3 of us. They were devastated yesterday. I don't believe the word arrogance portrays most on here, we are starved at the moment and most of us would have taken a final on the moon. This game brings various emotions with it, that's what makes it great and regardless of our fate later today most on here will stick fat with the red and blue and continue to cheer them on for years to come.

This kid should be given license to do as he pleases, there were multiple times today where he won the ball at half back, took off, had a paddock in front of him and decided to kick after 5 metres to where he thought someone should be. I just wonder if the game is too technical these days with all the meetings and IPads. Is the game plan always in the back of players minds which restricts them from their instincts?
