Sam Frost signs on for two more years
Dee Zephyr replied to TeamPlayedFine39's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's very good when running at speed and in a straight line, when he stops and props he seems a bit unsure of himself. I remember a few of his turnovers late in the year came from trying to switch back into the corridor(maybe due to instruction). A player like Frost needs to be let off the leash sometimes and play on instinct. -

The thought crossed my mind also, he might be wicked at it. -
What else you got for us?

In one significant way, however, the 2017 version of the Storm has already honoured a tradition of excellence. This is where we need to get to.

Great point Macca! The coaches of the teams above were subjected to scrutiny more so than any other coach in their respective sports also.
-
Incredible! Played a team that was a lost cause all year and voila.... On the other hand the Cowboys would have been doing what we were doing last Sunday night and all smiles for them now.
-
Probably.....not. Couldn't get a gig at Carlton, was it injury or simply not good enough?

Hoping Simon Goodwin gets his playbook back from the person that stole it 12 weeks ago.

Lachie Whitfield, Jake Lever, and other trade rumours
Dee Zephyr replied to Xavierrodway's topic in Melbourne Demons
One out of left field, I wouldn't mind having a go at getting Nathan Wilson from GWS, he's still contracted beyond this year but he'd be an upgrade on Bernie. I read that a couple of clubs were circling but I'm not sure we are one of them. -

I've copped a lot of flack at work in relation to this and the Dogs fans I've spoken to didn't receive anything. -
His body holding up is the key. I am a fan of Kent but with a few poor efforts earlier in the year, I started wondering what's happened to this bloke. I would prefer Hannan at this stage.

I remember this. Love the opening line. https://www.google.com.au/amp/www.theroar.com.au/2017/05/10/the-shoulda-coulda-woulda-melbourne-demons-could-be-the-afls-2017-what-if/amp/

Good post. 26 and 16 point deficits in both North games although the Tassie game could be excused. 27 to Hawthorn. 32 to Collingwood. All of them below us at the time.
-
Brian Waldron on Sen. According to Mr Waldron there will be an announcement on the footy show tonight.

I heard on the radio last week North have 8 players out of contract and the club is waiting on an answer from Dusty before these uncontracted players receive a new offer. Does anyone know the players or have more of an insight?
-
It's a like a bad dream that simply won't end. I like the back of the booklet. Apparently they have the answers. ' Have you found Mr Goodwin yet?' Should I start with that question first?
-
I'm still struggling with the emotions. My love for this club started in 1988, I was living abroad prior and I can't even imagine what 1987 felt like for those that went through it.
-
The club might be able to help with that. Only need to look at the back of the guide.
-
I couldn't wait to get home and run to my letter box after seeing this post earlier and to my delight I received 2 of them. Which one should I open first?
-
I heard it won't be until 2019. That's a long way off if true.
-
Pay cuts, they were told Lever is coming at $850k a year.

The Unsullied would have helped on Saturday.
