    Will anyone attend to report a bit of track talk? The next open session is listed for next week according to the MFC website. With a few players reportedly closer to main training, it would be good to get some reports from our track watchers.

    Hoping it’s the corky that was reported on game day. Encouraging second half by Jeffy and one I thought he could build on for the rest of the year. If he does miss C Wagner seems ahead of Spargo for a recall.

    Agree. I understand if supporters are frustrated with May, but I’m more outraged about what seems like common practice these days. The photo snapper and May are at the pub for the same reasons, yet one wants to make the other person’s business known to everyone, but that’s just me traccattack.

    Clearly O Mac’s fault for not stepping in front of Mr 5 minute hero and blocking the photo. I’m sure other members of the public recognised May and decided not to pull a phone out.

    In the warm up Lockhart had no trouble making the distance from similar range. You can notice on the replay Lockhart calling out Melksham in an attempted subtle manner and signalling with his eyes that he would pass it off to him. It looked like time wasting to me. Also, why wasn’t Melksham given the full 30 seconds after he signalled he was having a shot. He was told to play on after 15 seconds. Is there a different rule for outside 50 shots?

    Did anyone catch the clip of the boys in a circle just before the opening bounce doing some sort of chant? It looked like Nibbler and Jeffy were in the middle orchestrating.

    Jeffy was the first player Goody went to RN when the siren blew and gave him a massive cuddle, as if to say “what a tackle Jeffy” late in the game.

    Sounds like it. The ‘Around the state leagues’ report on the AFL site has him with 15 possessions and being relatively quiet.

    Almost nothing to whinge about, every second post today in a few threads is about O Mac. Incredibly hard to read DL today after a solid win with the constant bagging.

    Since the sack everyone mega thread is closed for the week, perhaps we should suggest Andre Gianfagna be sacked or relegated to some bush league for missing the most blatant of 50s today in the history of the game.

    O Mac divides DL again. When our better ball users in Lewis and Fritsch were turning the ball over time and time again in the first half , O Mac showed them up by hitting targets out of defence. I thought it was his best game of the season so far.

    Listening to 3AW on the way home, they commented the second 50 by Harmes was unlucky because OMac on the mark moved to his right a fair bit albeit fairly which made Harmes look like he was encroaching. Is that what happened?
