What is left to look forward to in 2019
A Kyle Dunkley debut, Gawn smashing a âsoreâ Grundy again in the return fixture, winning the toss against Norf in R23 and kicking with the wind in the opening quarter. Like most, this household is feeling pretty flat. Would also like to see if Goody and the match committee have the gonads to omit players severely out of form.

CHANGES: Rd 14 vs Fremantle
Players on a break Iâm guessing. Hunty enjoying himself at Movie World. All good as long as they took a Sherrin with them, those lines can get awfully long and congested.

Round 13 Non MFC Games
A six week stint in the SANFL certainly worked for him binman, came back on a mission. Unfortunate he hurt his knee very late in the game, will miss some games now.

Demonland Podcast featuring David Neitz Tuesday (18/6) @ 8:30pm
Most of us would remember Neal Daniherâs last game as coach, would like to hear about the emotions on the night, especially when Neita and Neale walked off together with arms around each other. Thanks.

Max Gawn shanks left - AGAIN
Wouldnât be a bad idea to run with Shanks for his next food truck venture.

Lowest Inside 50 Scoring Rate EVER
Fox Sports using a 3 word analysis in a mid-season review. An absolute disaster. 3 sentences is all we got about whatâs gone right, Hore and Lockhart have been good value pick-ups, we didnât lose to Gold Coast and thatâs about it. The following on the bad is pretty much what most are saying. The team has never looked right strategically, switching between slow play that can be picked apart and unnecessarily fast play-on footy that just results in mistakes and turnovers. They continue to create good inside 50 numbers, but canât kick straight to save themselves. The interrupted pre season has played a huge part in our decline also imo, I wonder how many of those with post season surgeries or injuries post Christmas werenât actually ready for Round 1 but played anyway.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 12
T Mac wow.... a few âexpertsâ had him as the Coleman medalist prior to the season and heâs produced just 4 DL votes after R12.

Fans Behaving Badly?
Ha Ha, spotters dressed up like FBI agents, goodness me! There are a few tweets from witnesses that go with that Age article that back up the story of the Pie fan. People will seriously boycott soon.

Fans Behaving Badly?
Taking the pizz now surely ??? From The Age I'm not at the ballet': Cops bail up Pies fan for 'barracking too loud A Collingwood fan at Monday's clash at the MCG claims he was threatened with eviction by half a dozen police because he was 'barracking too loud'. He said police acknowledged he was not swearing or being abusive, and when he questioned them about the apparent problem an officer replied: "Do you hear what I said? You're barracking too loud".

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Apologies if itâs been mentioned already but the modern day coaching is frustrating. How did Garlett end up one out with DeGoey in our back 50? I donât think I ever saw Farmer in the back pocket.

CHANGES: Rd 14 vs Fremantle
How many byes is that already? Same issue last season, we have a fit player in Stretch that will have played one game in 3 weeks. Iâd like to see Preuss get a game in a fortnight, not holding my breath though. Also, Lobb ruled out for Freo for an extended period due to a stress fracture in the foot.

Missing Jake Melksham
Thread needs a title change already. Melksham is injured, great player and we miss him but he wonât solve our problems right now.

Head scratcher if true. We basically fielded our best back 6 yesterday minus Jetta and we conceded the most points since round 3. Defence isnât the problem.

New Captain
If Gawnâs performances arenât enough to inspire the team right now Iâm not sure what will. Tireless and Herculean performances each and every week. Not sure how to feel about Max being captain next season. The man leads already and some donât follow. Just incredible numbers heâs putting up.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Yes Skuit, it looked like several times we were attempting to score a try and it was so frustrating to watch them waltz it the other way for easy goals. 3-9, oh boy!

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Just tuned in to On The Couch and the first words I heard Jonesy say âWe shoot ourselves in the foot by just butchering the footy in all phases of offence.â

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Collingwoodâs work rate and pressure was through the roof in the first half especially in the first quarter. They registered 7-8 smothers in the first quarter alone. It indicates the mind set, hunger and desire. It immediately put us on the back foot, we did well to a degree to fight back and make a game of it until half way through the last but you canât be chasing tail all day. How often do we persist with the dinky little kicks that offer no purpose? And they just hang in the air forever. Really frustrating and please stop handballing to a teammate thatâs piggybacking an opponent ffs. They punished our errors like a good team should. ?? to TMacâs miss to bring us within 14. Not saying we would have won the game but it would have made their fans poop their dacks for a while at least. Watching Max is pure pleasure, not much more you can say really. Even some Piesâ fans recognised greatness today.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
They havenât put us away yet, we are barely hanging on but still in the game. Trac has been a beast so far. Almost our best, heâs working extremely hard. We need more of that work rate from others.

Time to go Oscar!
Itâs terrible binman, itâs happening weekly to OMac. Our own turn on him during games, I was at the scratch match against the Pies in the preseason and a group of young Pie fans were hurling nasty abuse at him every time he came near us. No other player was singled out. It seemed they were there solely for that reason. Simply appalling, canât imagine what gets trolled out behind a keyboard. He destroyed Darling a few weeks ago and we hear nothing on his good performance, maybe a handful of positive posts. We keep reading and hearing if Lever and May are fit OMac doesnât play, guess what, they werenât available for most of last year and he performed admirably all the way to a prelim. We are sitting 3-8 with many performing at a below par level for one reason or another yet OMac has his own thereâs the door thread. Seems unfair to me.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Collingwood VFL
Great team effort with lots of positives today. Good to see dominance of inside 50s converted into goals.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Collingwood VFL
Rest? Mystery injury? A bit unusual we didnât get a report on the MFC website about Fridayâs training session. I believe they trained at Casey, probably a closed session.
