  1. Upon reflection, Lewis was decent I thought. From where I was sitting he spent a lot of time on Caddy which I thought was odd at the time. Caddy had no influence at all on the game.
  2. Speaking of ANB and apologies if I missed it, he’s listed in the injuries ( hamstring). How bad is it? Also a tad harsh ^^^^ about the mouth thing.
  3. 71 inside 50s against? When was the last time we conceded anywhere near that? T Mac saw more ball tonight than he did the first 5 rounds.
  4. Do you mean UEFA Europa League Wadda? That game is on Friday 3rd of May.
  5. We were in the game half way through the third, I thought we were a sneaky chance to go the distance. Simply overwhelmed in the end, Tigers are not a highly skilled side but their pressure is unbelievable at times. Numerous times our players had more time than they thought they did and needlessly just put boot to ball resulting in turnovers. That’s what the Tigers do, perceived pressure. I’m not sure if it’s the way the game is coached, but often players bob up in good 5-10 minute patches then they just vanish into thin air for the rest of the game. As for our 2 tackles inside forward 50, pretty hard to lay a tackle in there when you keep kicking the ball to their loose defenders and it pinballs straight back out. Maxy, T Mac, Salem, Hore, Hibbo (The new Dustbuster maybe) probably our best I thought and Stretch was good too. One player that is struggling big time imo is Fritta, good against Sydney, two well below par performances since. As silly as it sounds I was a lot angrier after the Saints game. Maybe I have conceded. I think I started typing this 5 pages ago. Sorry, the Milkshake was good too.
  6. T Mac and Frost walked out together, warmed up together for a while, walked back in together chatting the whole way. Backline Bros tonight?
  7. Too easy @Macca Here’s my Midweeker, plenty of time on the train to find something decent hopefully. Netherlands Eredivisie at 04:45 Thursday NAC Breda v Feyenoord Winning Margin- Feyenoord by 2+ goals $2.15
  8. Have we ever lost a game on a Wednesday?
  9. It was a gutsy performance that night, simply ran out of legs after dominating for the first 3 quarters and should have been up by more than 20 at 3 quarter time. We also lost Spencer during the second quarter and Mr Watts was rucking again. Just make it tough again for them where they have to earn their goals all game. Toiges fans have become arrogant, want to see them shuffling in their chairs for as long as possible.
  10. Are we certain KK has concussion like symptoms? Some rumours doing the rounds it’s the neck issue giving him trouble again.
  11. Too right. Nicknamed him ‘The Bread Man’ thinking he will deliver the goods at some stage last year. Hasn’t shown much, even before his injury unfortunately. Wish him luck, but slim chance of making it.
  12. Which second quarter incident are they talking about? The injury report video that shows the Saints player diving across Nev’s leg happened in the first quarter.
  13. Of course I did, apologies for leaving out the if he was available. That’s the problem, even some marginal depth players aren’t available and he would be playing imo right now if fit to try and save his career.
  14. I’m still hanging onto the fact our FD has tried to make adjustments Wise over pre season. No doubt we have become the hunted, maybe Goody hasn’t had the desired players available to adjust for one reason or another and has made do with what’s available. Bottom line is we have a game tomorrow night, everything seems against us and it would be some sort of win if we can do it. As frustrating as it is right now, I don’t think many on here are going anywhere.
  15. I don’t know how in depth our review was or wasn’t, but I do agree with @Lucifer's Hero on the point of the PF loss is very similar to our losses to Dons and Saints this year in the way the opposition has set-up against us. Watching the PF live at Optus all I can remember early from the game is seeing two of their quickest players in Rioli and Ryan setting up defensively on a flank each just outside our defensive 50 forcing our defenders trying to clear down the middle a lot where turnovers were created resulting in scores for them. The Dons hardly started Tippa and Fantasia inside 50 in Round 3 where you would have thought they would be most dangerous. It seemed they were used as high half forwards/wings at the time using their speed to block our rebounds and counter us quickly. Again on Saturday, Billings and Gresham were used the same way. Might be just coincidence, but simply from an observational point of view the similarities are striking.
  16. Might be scraping the bottom of the barrel now, but JKH wouldn’t be the worst choice on a wing right now. He was highlighted many times late last year for his two-way running and doing the ‘Team’ thing, something that’s clearly missing right now.
  17. Was told May injury confirmed on SEN this morning. A further 6 weeks, did anyone hear this?
  18. The title needs more names added. Does the mid-season draft include assistant coaches and fitness gurus?
  19. If you look at post #125 by AtboG Macca is listed as Defensive. ??‍♂️
  20. On the MFC site A F under the coaches section it has McCartney listed as Defensive Coach and Chaplin as Backline Coach. Does defensive mean on all areas of the ground?
  21. Can the players that had post-season surgeries be excused from returning unfit? Genuine question, not sure what programs they would be on while recovering in the off season unless all they did was drink.
  22. If true, Gawn must have been talking to himself during his B&F speech.
  23. Those little shoves happen 20-30 times a game without a free kick being awarded. The look of confusion on the players’ faces says it all really.
  24. Was just about to post the same. Did he pay that as a push? Kidding me, right?
  25. Article on AFL.com has him cleared to play after scans yesterday.
