Lol, it really is amazing how quick our brains switch into MFCSS mode in the dying seconds of a close game with us in front. Must admit I was even pleading with Melksham not to do anything stupid on the mark after giving the free kick away before the Kent mark.

Apologies if it’s been mentioned already, just looking at some stats and was surprised to read Weid covered 11.9km, ranking him 4th highest for the game behind Langdon and Hill (12.5km each) and 2nd highest for us. Out of 97 minutes he played 95. Fair effort, once upon a time full forwards wouldn’t cover 12km in one year.

I reckon there’s a better performer than May and Trac tonight. Check out Stafford belting out the song in the background, classic stuff.

Maxy summed it up best, making us smile back at home. That’s all we need sometimes, don’t really care how it looked, really gutsy win. Praise again for May and Trac. Incredible the both of them. Special mentions to Lever, Hibbo, Salem, Langdon and Captain Max.

This is just too funny Doc, I was 13 at the time and mum didn’t allow me to go to Windy Hill that day with my uncle to watch us. Don’t know if she was frightened by the locals there or what. Instead I was also at the G, mum sent me with my Richmond supporting uncle and cousins to watch them get pantsed by the Hawks. We were sitting second level of the Olympic stand, I remember my uncle turned his attention to our game on the radio in the last and the people around us started cheering our comeback. Watching the replay the day after one passage of play has stuck with me ever since. The Viney tackle on Ezard in the last quarter.
