  1. Phenomenal pressure. Hard work pays off
  2. OMG!!! Wtf Port....
  3. I think I’ve worked out how to beat them. Same game multis seem the go lately so I tried a couple this round. Had Selwood in one on Thursday, pops a hammie early. Tried again in last night’s game and included Caddy and Ziebell. Well well, both pop a hammie early. I’m including all Hawks players today. Go Dees!!
  4. A whopping % of 236.4 in those 4 games BF...yep I’m bored also.
  5. Apologies if I’ve missed it, has anyone heard anything about our scratch match against Sydney? I’ve only read we came out of it with no injury concerns, curious to see how many per side since we only had about 10-11 players available at the time. The Swans provided a report on their players after the solid hit-out.
  6. Indeed dieter, just look at the play with Gus dishing to O Mac and the kick forward to Bennell which leads to a Weid mark and goal. Gathers the ball and sums it perfectly, doesn’t waste precious seconds by swinging on to his preferred foot, a 40-50m left foot kick deep inside 50 to a one on one. Harley doesn’t need many possessions to have an impact.
  7. Talk about applying the brakes against the Suns. On The Couch showed we played on 13.4% during the game. Our lowest play on % since 2015. Apologies if mentioned already.
  8. O Mac seemed pretty upfront in an interview pre game. Many thought he was a tad unlucky after his R1 omission, he stated they wanted him to work on a few things before he came back in the side. Last night was a great example of an inclusion being justified. Everyone sees plays throughout the game that stand out to their eye, in the second quarter O Mac hit a contest hard on the outer wing to cause a spoil, picked up the crumb and burst through a couple of tacklers and put us forward. A few moments later he made himself an outlet option out of the back 50 with a kick to advantage that led to a goal. A few clean marks also. Renewed confidence was wonderful to see from a guy that’s been bashed from pillar to post and not just from here. Like the team, it needs to be backed up next week but you have to start somewhere.
  9. MFC - Undefeated on Saturdays
  10. 6. Viney 5. Gawn 4. Petracca 3. Langdon 2. O Mac 1. Salem
  11. Hard fought contest, thought we were looking shaky in the middle of the last. Still hit and miss with disposal but you can’t knock the determination to get over the line. Viney especially, some of his defensive work was inspiring and team lifting. Nice to have the kids smiling again after a game.
  12. Phenomenal work rate by Viney.
  13. O Mac with mongrel and dash this quarter. He’s having a good game so far.
  14. 2 men down and Fyfe plonked in the goal square the entire second half. Some ticker shown by Freo. Did they say B Hill had only 3 touches after quarter time?
  15. Brother of Gus is BOG this quarter. This is fantastic by Freo.
  16. Pay out early on a bet with a Doggies’ mate and express post a slab to him on Monday. At the start of the year he said we would be bottom 6, I said nah no way...slab on it?
  17. Check out the ‘Ask The Coach’ segments on the club website over the last couple of months and the same question gets repeated on just about every segment. Why can’t we replicate the game style of 2018? Goody’s answer - “ It’s pretty simple. Teams are defending differently to 2018 and we are working hard on an offence to break those defensive systems down. We think it’s not too far away.” I don’t expect Goody to go into detail with those sorts of Q&As and I’m sure they are working on something but what exactly is anyone’s guess. Apart from the 6-6-6 rule which only comes into play after goals how are teams defending differently since 2018? Someone explain please. It’s hard judging by TV viewing, maybe someone that attends today’s game can give us a ground perspective.
  18. Remember seeing a stat here last week. The team sitting second on the ladder has not won a game in 2020. The curse continues.
  19. The guy looks like he struggles to run at times. Genuine question, is he still suffering some kind of knee problem? He was being managed a few weeks ago.
  20. 6. Hibberd 5. Petracca 4. Hannan 3. T Mac 2. Salem 1. Harmes Struggled with the 2&1
  21. Faaark, no one gets body on Lynch.
  22. Bolta the new Rance?‍♂️
