CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Good teams bang down doors and I’m sure not many in the firsts will be just sitting back nice and cozy.

I know it’s only one quarter but surely some must be salivating watching the two boys up forward.

Disappointing Benny Brown, that was only a 6 step run-up for goal.

Jetta in the centre square. Is he tagging a specific player?

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
You’d call yourself silly if you thought City would go one better than the last derby FD. It was incredible, one team sniffed blood and went for it while the other went looking for a hole to crawl into for the rest of the season. Was trying to figure out after the game a 7-0 result is like what in AFL? The margin mentioned several posts above comes close to describing the Victory performance.

Just returned home from the Melb City v Melb Victory game. Is it too late to text some Essendon mates telling them City scored more goals than their team tonight?

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Thanks, sounds simple enough D_J.....will supporters get their reserved seats back if it eventuates? Oh sorry...I was sure I didn’t select the 1-5 option. There’s not one of us under 5 so I thought it could be an issue.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
I got through to someone at the club daisy and he assured me scanning junior tickets won’t be a problem as the MCG staff are well aware and understanding of the ticketing problems encountered by supporters.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Just heard on radio there is a chance of going 100% capacity by Anzac Eve, all depending on trialling some new format this weekend with the ticketing agencies. Health Department to make a call as early as next Monday possibly.

Lol, a two hour window on a working day to try and get tickets. I’ve somehow ended up with 6 x junior 1-5 years tickets. Wonder if they will let us in.

Clayton Oliver Re-Signs Until 2023
Well...my nephew’s 15th Birthday party just came to life and he’s wondering why there’s only 13 candles on his cake. Fantastic news.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
There was talk a couple of weeks ago of going 100% capacity by Round 6 DD, gone quiet since though. There were a lot of perplexed and frustrated Melbourne supporters around us on Sunday. Watching Cats’ fans not only in an MFC reserved area but in your actual reserved seat was a head scratcher.

Jayden Hunt Re-Signs for 2 years
Enjoying watching him so far, just looks relaxed and controlled. Love it when the supporters find extra voice when he starts to run. He burnt Dahlhaus in the first quarter with ease after starting behind him and the look on Dahlhaus whilst chasing was priceless....and that 50-60 metre chase he didn’t give up on in the last quarter when he wasn’t going to get near the Geelong players was inspiring, he actually beat 3 of his teammates after starting way behind them to get closest to helping Lever.

On Ticketek it says Club Members tickets go on sale today from 1pm. Can you book tickets today with a Melbourne home & away membership or are we strictly tomorrow?

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
All good P-man, love all the different takes on here. Could have given 6 to a few blokes, but from my vantage point Viney seemed in everything and the clincher was when he ran straight from the interchange and flew Superman style to spoil the ball in the last quarter.

Just watched the replay and one of the biggest highlights for me came right at the end. You can excuse a team late in a game for going through the motions when the scoreboard says game over, but not our mob yesterday. In the final 10 seconds of the game we laid 4 tackles and almost a 5th as Geelong tried to run the ball out of their defensive 50. Incredible work rate, talk about playing 120 minutes.- POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Yep....exhaustion. They certainly left nothing out there. It’s very hard to contain the excitement as supporters watching them work as one in the first month of the season.- VOTES: Rd 04 vs Geelong

Should have been further up in front at 3/4 time but If the first 10 minutes of the last quarter isn’t a show of maturity and responding when things seem against you I don’t know what is. Enjoy it all, that was a brilliant team effort. Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!!- GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Loving our coaches thinking ahead. Hunt has been going to Smith when Smith rolls forward and has kept him quiet. Hunt has been exceptional, not necessarily stat wise but watching behind the play his work rate is unbelievable. We should be further in front, the lowering of the eyes and seeking the best option is impressive so far. Just bury them in the third. - POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
