What they're saying down at Punt Road
No doubt we will get smashed if some of our players drop an easy chest mark then get comfy on the recliner and watch it all unfold like Brad Hill did last week. The one thing that has stood out to me so far is our ability to play right until the last second of the game. I think we will be in this for a long way.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Yeah, the âhavenât beaten anyoneâ tag is starting to frustrate me especially when other teams fans throw it out there in a conversation. Most âexpertsâ and footy followers had us missing finals preseason and probably would have pencilled us in for at least a couple of losses in the first five rounds. We beat the teams people thought would beat us and â oh... but youâve beaten bottom teamsâ. Definitely sterner tests to come but so far the signs are promising.

If We Beat Richmond, I Will.......
We havenât had one of these fun threads this season and itâs worked so far. Disclaimer : This topic commenced later than the Days Since Last Loss thread. Days Since Last Loss thread is now the rightful owner of the word âjinxâ should we lose. Fire away....

The Soccer thread
Big news continue. Mourinho sacked overnight just days before the League Cup final. Reportedly he was against Spurs joining the Super League.

Has There Been A Better Recruit This Year Than Langdon?
He reminds me of Christian Slater....no idea why. Recruiting Langdon has changed the dynamic of this team.

Do you trust Melbourne
Very close to voting Yes. What makes me all warm and fuzzy right now is seeing some individuals become team first players and not being content with a couple of highlights. This team means business, time will tell if we are good enough for the ultimate glory. Trac slammed his fist on the turf 4 times in anger just after the half time siren, obviously very disappointed with himself for spraying the shot on goal just before half time. Watching Lever rule the roost back there is a sight for sore eyes. I love the fact they expect better when making errors. Very encouraging signs to say the least.

I read banners are back next week, canât wait to see a big 300 next to Jonesâ pic Saturday night. What a night to look forward to.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Good teams bang down doors and Iâm sure not many in the firsts will be just sitting back nice and cozy.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
I know itâs only one quarter but surely some must be salivating watching the two boys up forward.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Disappointing Benny Brown, that was only a 6 step run-up for goal.

Jetta in the centre square. Is he tagging a specific player?

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
Youâd call yourself silly if you thought City would go one better than the last derby FD. It was incredible, one team sniffed blood and went for it while the other went looking for a hole to crawl into for the rest of the season. Was trying to figure out after the game a 7-0 result is like what in AFL? The margin mentioned several posts above comes close to describing the Victory performance.

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
Just returned home from the Melb City v Melb Victory game. Is it too late to text some Essendon mates telling them City scored more goals than their team tonight?

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Thanks, sounds simple enough D_J.....will supporters get their reserved seats back if it eventuates? Oh sorry...I was sure I didnât select the 1-5 option. Thereâs not one of us under 5 so I thought it could be an issue.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
I got through to someone at the club daisy and he assured me scanning junior tickets wonât be a problem as the MCG staff are well aware and understanding of the ticketing problems encountered by supporters.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Just heard on radio there is a chance of going 100% capacity by Anzac Eve, all depending on trialling some new format this weekend with the ticketing agencies. Health Department to make a call as early as next Monday possibly.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Lol, a two hour window on a working day to try and get tickets. Iâve somehow ended up with 6 x junior 1-5 years tickets. Wonder if they will let us in.

Well...my nephewâs 15th Birthday party just came to life and heâs wondering why thereâs only 13 candles on his cake. Fantastic news.

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
There was talk a couple of weeks ago of going 100% capacity by Round 6 DD, gone quiet since though. There were a lot of perplexed and frustrated Melbourne supporters around us on Sunday. Watching Catsâ fans not only in an MFC reserved area but in your actual reserved seat was a head scratcher.

Jayden Hunt Re-Signs for 2 years
Enjoying watching him so far, just looks relaxed and controlled. Love it when the supporters find extra voice when he starts to run. He burnt Dahlhaus in the first quarter with ease after starting behind him and the look on Dahlhaus whilst chasing was priceless....and that 50-60 metre chase he didnât give up on in the last quarter when he wasnât going to get near the Geelong players was inspiring, he actually beat 3 of his teammates after starting way behind them to get closest to helping Lever.
