		Farewell Jesse Hogan

Seems Freo are positioning themselves to finish on the bottom next year. Terribly poor management. Their supporters should be livid, but are probably celebrating like they've had some sort of great victory.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS

		- Farewell Jesse HoganComfort food while waiting impatiently for Freo to come into the real world.
- Farewell Jesse HoganTim Tam Turkish Delight is surely the new king of bikkies SWYL? If you want an awesome packet of assorted, nothing comes close to Griffins. Not sure if they are sold here any more, but jeebus they are good. If Freo want to include a packet of each with pick 11, I'm sold.......
- Farewell Jesse HoganAfter paying Dockerland a visit, I would like to extend my thanks to @Demonland for giving us a user friendly and visually attractive site to discuss our team on.
- Farewell Jesse HoganU.N would immediately demand we hand Hogan over to Eritrea. Rather keep him thanks.
- Farewell Jesse HoganJust a guess, but I think it may have something to do with something that rhymes with Premiership.
- Farewell Jesse HoganAny player from any team, at any time, is subject to that same statement. We have a hole in the list for a bloke who can defend against the gorilla forwards, and May is without question the best player available who can do this. The time to strike is NOW, not next year.
- Farewell Jesse HoganAgree with ProDee above, and cannot understand why anyone on this board would want to delay adding the final pieces of a premiership pie when our window has just opened. Makes no sense at all.
- Farewell Dom TysonGood move from Norf. They have an ageing list, so tyson should be able to play his preferred position for the next few years. And being able to gain Preuss at the same time adds what we need, so good win/win trade.
- Farewell Jesse HoganThats incorrect Ethan. I always get ads for asian dating sites, and I havent visit one of those for about 10 years. I reckon its connected in some way to the cloud bursting amount of porn I download.
- Farewell Jesse HoganYeah ok pm.....
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYThinking next years first is backup for the May deal. Frost and pick perhaps? Unsure of frosts contract situation
- Andrew GaffYou may all want to laugh at Norf, but it's just made this years premiers that much sronger. Worst possible decision from our perspective.
- Farewell Jesse HoganDockers playing hard ball on Neale. Assume they play just as hard with what they give up for Hogan. Maybe it's a sign that they know what they need to cough up for Hogan, and are trying to ease the pain with an extra pick for Neale
- Farewell Jesse HoganI am in the "viewed in totality", and "pragmatist"groups when it comes to trading. I see that's the way you view it also by looking at it like this. I would put my money on the Dees selecting ready to go players over kids, but if we choose to keep an early draft pick in our current situation, I will be bloody excited, because the footy gurus must regard him as something quite special. Does this kid defend, or is he a one way runner?
- Farewell Jesse HoganThats unusually over the top for you Skuit. Are you one of the posters advocating for picks 4 & 5 for Hogan? If you are do you really think this kid is worth 4 & 5? Thats one hell of a talented kid.
- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAYWould not be at all surprised if Frost forms part of the trade for May/KK
- Farewell Jesse HoganI'm not that confident that we will hold off and push it to the brink for those 2 early picks. I just cant see us getting 4 & 5 4 and a pick after 10 maybe is what I see us accepting, and if it goes to the final couple of trading hours, we may take pick 4 on its own. I have a hunch that our guys view Jesse (leaving) now as the key to a serious flag hit next year. I reckon we REALLY badly want May, and cant take the chance of Colonwood swooping. I hope you are right, as @Redleg trade scenario would be an absolute dream come true. But if it appears too good to be true, it usually is.
- Farewell Jesse HoganSorry, I actually mean he goes into the draft. I expect Freo to be near the bottom again. Then we take what Freo offers, or lose him for nothing. Very very unlikely but possible. We should be doing something now if we think losing him can give us the Flag pieces that we need. He gives us the currency we need.
- Farewell Jesse HoganNot sure I trust this bloke with our trading.......
- Farewell Jesse Hogan5) We try to bluff Freo with demanding 2 x early first rd picks, only to realise that Hogan will leave for a pick around 18 next year, so we bite the bullet, trade him for something less than 4/5, and play in a Grand Final with Steven May at full back. The idea of Hogan for May stinks to high heaven, but with the hand we have, it will only take Hogan to really warm to Freo, and we will be forced to take the single early pick. As much as I hate the idea, if it gets done, we are 1 large step closer to a flag. Heres hoping we get more than pick 4, as we should.
- Farewell Jesse HoganI am not ethically challenged by a single legal thing that brings us a flag. Zero.
- Farewell Jesse HoganHow anyone could be advocating for an 86kg 200cm plus stick insect defies belief. We have just entered our first Premiership window for almost 20yrs. If we add just a few more adult bodies with the required skill into the team, we may just be able to end our 5 decade plus flag famine. Load up, win as many flags as we can, then we can all sit back and watch the rebuild again, finally knowing what its like to drink from that cup.
