They've looked desperate for a few seasons now. I have a fair amount of respect for Norf, as they never look to bottom out for draft picks, and very often out perform everyone's expectations, but this desperate chase for seemingly anyone available has me shaking my head. They are not a flag threat, but seem to be targeting players as if they are.

Pretty much exactly how I see it. While its nice to be smashing teams occasionally, we have still found a way to lose to a garbage team (Saints), while being unable to find a win against a single good team. I still think our finals chances evaporated against the Saints, in a typical Melbourne loss.
