  1. I sold Chad a refrigerator on the Sunshine Coast many years back. Until that point I was sure that his teef were fake, and part of his act. I was horrified to realise they were his actual teef ewwww

Easy, cook up the worst slop you can throw together. Deep fry them a chuck steak, and serve with vegetables that have been steamed for 6 hours. Then microwave a bowl of ice cream for them. Jesus I hate the Hawks.
  3. Expand on this pls Dieter. Secret weapon is a big call. For me, I've seen so many finals influenced by physicality (1988 and 2000 come painfully to mind), and that causes me to look at the current list and smile, as we, for the first time in my 50yrs, have a list capable of physically matching any other side. More than that, with players such as Vandenberg, we have many who will have opposition pausing when they are in the area. We finally have the team to not just match it when things get tough, but a team who can set a standard of their own, and do the bullying ourselves for a change.
  4. Hit the nail on the head I reckon. Think about how much more effective Oscar will be with the strength that another 2 pre-seasons will bring. Great news from our list managers. Well done team, and thanks Oscar.
  5. Bloody hell mate, @dieter himself will tell you that I am about as far from a "bleeding heart liberal" as you can get. But on this, I am 100% opposite to your opinion. What Greene did was not tough footy. It was a coward act from a bloke who was scared of contact. A stop to the face could easily remove someones eye. Think about what you are saying.
  6. I cant believe some of the things I read on this site.
  7. Roosy was beaming every time they put his dial on the screen. Like a proud parent watching his youngest kid graduate. Kingy actually tipped us pre game to win by 30. He has been a fan for a while. As for Dunstall, would rather listen to my ex wife talking to me about child support.
  8. Funny how we all see the game differently. Although overall he had a good night, I was cursing him early for at least 3 terrible kicks out of half back that resulted in turnovers. Hugely improved player though. It's so nice having a number of players with that sweet left foot now.
  9. Win or lose, this will be a great taste of the big time for our young team. I'm tipping a Cats win, but the experience of finals pressure will be invaluable for the teams development. Go Dees, give it everything you have.
  10. Interesting discussion. Our list is certainly stronger across the board than it was during our last finals campaign. I've always thought that your bottom 6 can play a big part in winning, but STARS can win games almost by themselves, and we have a couple of players now that could be considered stars. But.... Stars are also made in finals, and with a strong finals campaign, it may come to light that we actually have more stars than people realised. I'm not expecting a flag tilt this year, although its one of the worst top 8's I can recall, so anything is possible. But next year, all things equal, look out comp.

It was a nod to your committment to the team mate, not a stab. Enjoy the game.
  12. If you are lucky enough to get a seat at the Grand final and we beat the Tigers, make sure you have your will sorted, and maybe bump up the life insurance prior to the game. The carpark would be a war zone.
  13. The "Peter Jackson Premiership Trophy Cabinet"
  14. Interesting thought. hadn't considered that. I rate Oscar. Have done for a while. MUCH better foot skills than big brother at this stage of his career, and is very reliable for such a young KPD Reads the play well, and is starting to zone off at the right times, to take the intercept marks. Has a footy brain. Ok, gets mauled occasionally by the giants, but with the way the game appears to be going, 1 position gorillas may soon be a thing of the past. With Frost showing signs of improvement, it bodes well for a flag attempt in the next few years.
  15. The club has a lot to answer for here. They actively covered up rampant club wide drug abuse because they were winning finals. Player welfare appeared to mean Zero to them, and their inaction possibly contributed to the death of one player, while a second is heading towards the same fate at a rapid rate. Hang your heads in shame, you bastards.
  16. He'll be too busy presenting himself the Norm Smith.
  17. How do you figure that? I would think our 2nd rd would be in play, as several clubs would be interested. Would be nice to add a huge bodied, aggressive player to the list.

Maybe it's just me, but I had a chuckle to myself that a bloke who has flown to 16 games this year, is at all concerned about an $82 ticket. No disrespect intended mate. Hope you get your seats together.
  19. The players must find it irresistible to visit team forums when they can see things like this posted about them I can imagine the family and teammates having a great laugh among themselves. Well done.

This is a line that should be conveyed to Gaff at every opportunity. You can near on bet that it will happen at some stage.
  21. 42 empty rooms in Bali this week. Might be a good time to check for specials.

No chance it was poor management. He did not possess the required skills. His spacial and situational awareness, and lateral movement was terrible. Shows the lottery that is the draft.
  23. Just sent you a code via pm Hope your old man has a great time faulty I have one more if anyone needs it.
  24. Did you get one yet mate?
  25. If they are issuing tickets later today or tomorrow, I have 3 memberships at home that I cant use.
