It's 2022. Someone will be in possession of a phone that has the "scuffle" on video. Lets see if Mick Warner really does have the inside info on the Dees.

Reading this thread I'm a bit confused. Apparently their is an All Australian quality full forward available at the end of the year and people on here don't want him. All of our supposed AFL level key forwards are either long in the tooth, long term injured, or just not up to the job. For now I prefer persisting with Ben Brown while leaving Weideman exactly where his skillset belongs. VFL.

Haha, jesus. The horror...........
-
Doesn't need it. Made his apology which was accepted. Absolutely zero need to keep dragging it up. Pointless and counterproductive. If Tex was available I'd be bloody stoked. Get him in I say.
-
Ben Brown would be thankful that Sam Weideman can't take a mark, otherwise he'd be looking at a sizeable stint in the 2's. Might we still have a few players under the weather? Wow we looked out on our feet late in the game.

Bigger bust than an early 20's Pamela Anderson. Sam wishes he was harder at the ball.......

The absolute nerve of challenging the suspension should be worth an extra 2 or 3 weeks. A missed opportunity for the AFL to show the public that a big name is not an automatic downgrade of said charge. A 4 week penalty would have been a lovely "[censored] you" to Franklin and the Swans. As would a 1 week ban for Cotchin being a total [censored].

Tackle Your Feelings | Simon Goodwin dealing with stress

People talk about Hird as a narcissist. He has nothing on Zempilas. A prototypical media personality-turned-politician. May the grand final never again be played in a location that is accessed by that complete [censored]. -

I used to really detest what I considered "corporate speak" from Goody. This vid shows that even the automaton has a soul and it's great that he can use his personal experiences to help others. I like the post '19 Goody. Adversity made him stronger. Much like the current list I guess. -
Bodes well for any future meeting this season at the G. We looked far better than them at times early. Hang on, what on earth is this doing in the Luke Jackson contract thread?
-
Yes, please bring American politics into a thread about the Melbourne Football Club constitution, because that's what we all really want to talk about.

Kangaroos Hopping Mad after Triple Walk Out

I question the sanity of anyone who thinks that Fitzroy moved to Brisbane.🤪 -

Lotta people saying we should feel sorry for them. Might be interesting to go fishing through the Big Footy threads from when we were in danger of folding and see what their supporters were saying. I think that's around the time that they were all starting "who has the best midfield" threads just so they could name themselves while throwing a bone to another random club to make their gloating seem genuine. First thought is "poor bastards" After a minutes recollection all sympathy evaporates. -
Carlton and Brisbane will be seen as our threats until we play them. There is always a headline to be made out of speculation But Carlton at it's best is certainly equipped to give us a good challenge, especially now their biggest weakness (defence) has been improved by the fantastic return of Docherty. Good mids, bloody good forwards and an improved game plan. Would be nice to maul them prior to finals.

I've always thought our Melbourne based supporters were weak as [censored] when it came to attending games away from the G. The whining from people about Marvel stadium as a reason to not attend a game is mind bending. Who would not want to watch our reigning premier team play when its in the same city?

She is bloody excited to be an Owzee

She loved it at first sight. Although for a relatively recent arrival to the country (she does her citizenship ceremony on Tuesday) she really has developed a mental disorder when cheering for the Dees. I swear she would physically harm anyone in our house who spoke negatively against the Dees on game day. .......aaaand so I will do the right thing just as soon as it is listed in her size on the Demon shop. Cos, you know, i don't want to die just yet. oh, and my own mother has been telling her she has questionable taste since day 1.

Jeez mate, the facepalm brigade will be all over you. I think it is not a patch one last years epic effort but my missus just asked me to buy one for her so I guess its 50/50 in my household.

Nicely put C.B.F I like your values.

I don't want to sidetrack another thread so this is said respectfully. You base your player ratings on the persons values??? Col, that is, ah, unusual.. You nailed the first 2 paragraphs. His style has certainly changed since he crossed to us. Much more contested aerial work in his play now. I reckon that is a feather in the cap of our coaching team. They have turned him into a weapon.

Always wanted Brown in our colors when he was with Norf. He will end up a dual or triple premiership player now. A nice bloke with lots of bling around his neck. Congrats Ben. And thanks for crossing over to us.

3 norm Smith medals. And not "possibly" the greatest? Please expand on your thoughts.
-
Possibly the greatest player in AFL history. Any move he makes will be a newspaper headline and a marketing tool with not much else behind it. Does not have a great deal of 1%er left in him. At least not for the fanfare it would involve.
