  1. Lol I only saw the post you quoted. Does seem he jumped to a conclusion. I concede on that point, although assassinating Trengove's character is still a ridiculous assertion.
  2. Completely unwarranted and over the top reaction. Just ridiculous. He made no such conclusions, or at least he did not state in any way that Trenners let himself go. I am also disappointed that Trenners is not back in a suitable condition to join the main group, but I suspect it is because the medical staff don't want to stress his foot too much early in the pre season. That's his foot's fault, not his character.
  3. Never heard of him. 74 is not old enough to cark it.
  4. He may never have been mentally fit to take the field. How the hell would any of us know for sure?
  5. Our listing of 2 Scorps in the rookie draft would have raised eyebrows KC. Smart move by all concerned, as it makes Casey appear to be a pathway to AFL seniors.
  6. He actually said that oli? A fully fit Trengove of old would be a walk up start. An awful lot needs to change however.
  7. How can he possibly be fielding calls while doing a 10km run? That's what he was doing right?
  8. His incessant grin, and the ugly smirk of the great feminist warrior and drug cheat Watson make my teeth grind also. You are free to speak for me on this issue Choke.
  9. To Dion, and your family (I'm sure some of you are reading this thread by now) Welcome aboard. Bring that full on aggression and forward pressure every minute, of every single game, and in the next few years you may just end up a premiership player for the Dees. You have a skill set that we lack, and your success will largely be determined by your attitude and application. Be a complete bastard when hunting your opponent, and you might play more games than you think..... faulty.
  10. I had a look at the pics earlier, and did a double take at the same pic. First thought was, geez, small head......
  11. Thanks Red. I hate stuff...........
  12. Emma Quayles draft analysis contains the most ridiculous, nonsensical sentence I have ever had this misfortune to read. "The Bulldogs were in a great position to see which player the other clubs let slip through to them" Staggering in its stupidity. Thanks, I needed the rant 'cos I have nobody here to complain to ...
  13. I'm not claiming there will be no penalty. In fact, I am very confident that there will be. My argument is that there was no reason for it to be dragged out until after this draft.
  14. They can proclaim their innocence, just as essedon has done. Should not have made any difference to the end game as this has been "investigated" (hidden) for 1 year. Plenty of time for the AFL to determine guilt, and issue a suitable penalty. Like I said in my original post, convene an earlier sitting of the commission, and get it done. But of course, as most of us suspected, they did nothing that would affect GWS draft position. Window dressing from here, to appear tough I expect.
  15. I must be missing something, because to me, what you are saying is illogical Red. I can see why some here simply cannot believe that the afl is serious about this. The AFL runs the game (with eddies permission of course). They had the opportunity to hit the Giants with penalties prior to the draft, but once again tried to "negotiate", rather than simply announce a penalty. And now that the Giants crossed their arms and said "no", we have the farcical situation where today we watch the Giants plunder yet another draft, while raising their middle finger to the games supposed overlords. What was there to deal over? The AFL could have simply made a call, and announced it whenever they like. It couldn't be a matter of the commission not meeting prior to the draft, as the decision could have been made to recall them earlier. They don't assemble on Mars, and Skype etc is available anywhere in the country. Gil and his lackeys are jellybacks of the highest order, or complicit in a charade.
  16. The graveyards are full of the skeletons of people who joked about his hairline....
  17. Jordan Lewis does not run around a track. The track revolves around Jordan Lewis. And Jordan cannot be held responsible for his actions if the track does not revolve at a suitable pace....
  18. Reckon this covers it......
  19. It always sells well when it is half price the following year..........
  20. I look at every medium/long term "injury" to one of the afl's high profile party boys with great suspicion. The code we follow is like the wonderful world of pro boxing or horse racing. Never been a fix in those codes either. Meanwhile, the upper echelon rich suck down their mighty Havana cigars, and chortle among themselves at the insipid outsiders.
  21. You are over doing it mate. We all know you are o/s at the moment.
  22. Yep, clearly sanctioned by the afl. They want things their own way, and are softening up The government must stay strong, and pull the pin on this. Simply disgusting.
  23. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-11-15/comment-doping-scandal-over-but-do-wada-rules-fit-our-game Add ashley browne to the conga line of afl suckholes. The bubble is large, and full of slime.
  24. 6 months takes it to May. Still pissweak. And they managed AGAIN, to start the penalty in the off season. Absolutely infuriating, and predictable.
  25. So brave.........
