I think if we program his pre season and mindset right Gus could be a prolific ball winner off half back and push into AA contention. But he has to want to own the position.

Did I miss something with the selections last week? Why was Petty dropped, and is it likely he will be an in for next week? -
I think ours were contaminated with Mogodon or Valium.
-
I need to watch that again tonight now. One of my favourites.

I am one who wants to see him tried as a forward. Also as a 2nd ruck, where hopefully some time on the ball free up his mind a bit and let him enjoy his footy again. Release the siege mentality a bit. I think it might be weighing him down.

I would play OMac forward, and agree with Bitters - Jones to the forward line.
-
I think he means Bob Crane (played Hogan on Hogans Heros TV show). He was bashed to death mysteriously.

JKH was in the rehab group, along with spargo and KK. It may have been Toby Bedford he was watching. Trac was in the main group but Oliver, Viney and Jones were also in rehab. -

The 1960s just called, they want their post back.

If I was in Melbourne, we would have already been to a session because.....it was the school holidays. It now isn't. That is the point. You are missing the point about how well attended this activity has been over the years and the good that it does to the supporter base up here. Given the two games at the Gabba this year I would have thought it would be the year to really drum up support. As D77, it only has to be a BBQ and meet and greet with the players and a kick of the footy.

My first thought when I read the club's email was to take the kids out of school and take a day off. Wife vetoed that very quickly. I also sent an email to the club explaining my displeasure. Even through the performances of the past years I could find positives and we stayed fat with the club. But this really p's me off and stinks of arrogance. There is two games at the Gabba this year and would have spent hundreds of dollars on the functions etc. Right now I don't think I want to.

Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. We have been going for a few years now. We bought memberships with this session the only highlight up here (qld) for years and they put it 9am on a friday when people have work and the kids have school. My daughter is a Young Demon member and the email was sent to her. Talk about neenah neenah. Kids are devestated. Wife is upset too as we ussually call back through Mooloolaba to pick up some awesome fresh prawns. I'll finish by saying this event is usually well supported and really successful.

If we could poach one GWS Midfielder...

Scully And then I would play him at Casey every week. Yes, I am that vindictive..... -
My Daughter (13) has long been a Nathan Jones but is also rapt with Daisy these days. The 20 yr old Son is a big Max Gawn trajic and I am completely torn between my love of Jayden Hunt's speed, Oliver's handballing and nifty Nev Jetta for just being Nev.
-
I think Gawn and Wagner in. Watts and jones out. Pedo to replace Watts. Wagner to free up Lewis/Vince/Salem to cover Jones' role. Wish it was trenners.
-
I was also worried about the lack of ruck depth at the end of the trade and draft period. Its not hindsight just because I didn't post it at the time. Its an important position and I didn't think we had enough coverage. You always need a plan, a backup plan, and a backup to your backup. I liked what I saw of Flip at the Maroochydore session, can't comment at all on King. They are just not ready yet to be viable options.
-
Are you Mitch Cleary?
-
I would have Bruce in my best team, but you also left him out of the exports. Cam would easily get a run in that team.
-
I thought Wagner was playing in Brisbane and we recruited him from Aspley. Splitting hairs though as your argument still stands. While I am logged in though I'll leave my opinion, I agree with #11 - TonyA above, Tim Smith to be a cult hero by round 18.

Mine is a little different too. I wasn't fortunate enough to see much of Robbie Flower in action, but Stephen Stretch is still my favourite - followed him over from West Torrens. Over time I have loved watching: Cameron Bruce pre-shoulder. Nathan Brown - never stopped trying. Wrecker - his hit on Hird still brings a smile to my face. Not so much as a player but a play - Nathan Carroll when he tackled Fraser Gehrig trying to run around him on the mark. Adem Yze - especially in the forward line. David Neitz - Troy Broadbridge - don't now why - just liked the cut of his jib. Clint Bizzell Jack Viney I know it is sacrilege these days, but - Brock McLean especially his final vs the Saints in 2006.
