The captain and the umpires
Yes, it would actually be a great support to umpires at all levels.

Yze Favourite For Pies Coach?
Totally agree Mr Redleg.

Yze Favourite For Pies Coach?
Unless they know the next coach will be short lived after making the hard decisions, like a sacrificial anode.

Fair enough, best to wait then. Not too long though - tick tock and all that...

Can we rename GMBH to Zimmer Stadium yet?

The captain and the umpires
I hope the umpires have a huge crackdown on throwing the ball next week (while we have the bye and don't get caught up in the confusion) and reset to players for the rest of the year. Too many left uncalled and randomly one will get called. I include shovelling in this which seems to have been "decriminalised". They fix that up and it will also help with HTB.

Nathan Buckley Steps Down as Collingwood Coach
St Kilda and GCS look like they are on the "Hayward Stuff"

The captain and the umpires
Captain can still talk to the ref. But agree, it's time to stop the player backchat and abuse of the umpires. It's over the top these days. Also a pet hate of mine is appealing decisions like every player is fielding at short leg on a hat trick ball.

Sydney were flatter than a Lebanese bread. No run or spark at all. There has been some games of horrible quality this weekend ☹

If the game took a look at itself in the mirror, and saw this game. It would make some serious life changes!!

Demons & Blues Worlds Apart
On one of the shows this week, I forget which, they discussed how much the blues have invested in their defence, without much real reward. That they still need a top quality full back is quite lamentable for them. (Nick Riewold referenced our defence and what we invested, but how it is actually paying off - so it must have been On the Couch)

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Almost completely agree Tom, I just think it will be later this year. We have had a great luxury so far this season of getting him cherry ripe and not rush him in as a saviour. I'll go on record and say I think he will blow a final apart in a second half. Happy to be held to account if wrong, but would rather be right. On Tomlinson, I don't recall seeing it mentioned so much when he got injured, but the utter disappointment and despair on his face was more than a standard "journeman", reeked of real buy in and sense of belonging to me.

Trade Targets
Unfortunately he is made of glass. Can't stay on the park. Had high hopes for him.

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Looked a bit under done when he came in to me. I expect to see him for a block of games after the bye and build nicely into a solid season and run to the finals. When he is ready and in form there will be room for him.

What they're saying at Junction Oval
Thanks for noticing Kev, but really, I just love that Groucho Marx quote PF used. Feel free to say whatever you like around me.

What they're saying at Junction Oval
How about "11 and 1, and still in Gaza"

Blues Blues
I don't know, smells like they want to get a jump on Collingwood for the best available experienced senior coach out there. Maybe they are eying off Ross Lyon.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
Wow, the answer to the ultimate question. We have done very well in the mid season draft!!

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
I totally agree with you. My thoughts have also been to play ANB on the wing in place of Langdon. Would have worried me last year but his form and composure seems so much more assured this year. If it works, we have another dimension to work with. If not welcome back Langdon and ANB back to the flank.

Nice to see us draft a player with a nice vanilla/ meat and potatoes name for a change ?

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Brisbane
I tend to agree, BBB needs to be given some more opportunity in the second half of the season. I'm sure with an extended run of games he will build his form and fitness. I am far from thinking he is done.

Eight Dees in Robbo's All-Australian team
I saw that too. Thought to myself he must have him confused with Hunt. I don't buy into him always being drunk, but he certainly is complacent (lazy) and ignorant given his position

Alex Neal-Bullen
I hope we have a great conversation about how right you are later tonight.

Good, it will make ANBs job easier then.
