Dale Thomas. i know a lot of people think he is soft, but he is far from soft and he can really play. Goddard has been the pick up of 2013 and Daisy will be the pick up of 2014. if anyone had of said after the 2010 grand final that both these players would be on offer in a few years, it would've been laughed at. Daisy is exactly what we need.

Port just beat Collingwood. There is a MASSIVE difference between the Malthouse production line VS Roos/Bomber production line. Make no mistake, we will improve ten fold with Paul Roos as a coach. I've been saying this all year, coaches from the Geelong or Sydney production line are worth their weight in gold. Just look at Ken Hinkley going about his business, Port were a rabble last year and arguably worse than us.

Would've been good to get Prestia, he is a gun and carved it up today. But, at least we made an approach, that is all we can do I guess. Now we are getting shite in order, hopefully players decide that we are a viable option for them. Roos is the key, because he develops people to be more successful, on and off the field and that can be a massive factor in players wanting to come to a club.

That is good to hear, I think the stress of playing for a coach under fire alone - would be enough to get players down.

Given that we have more kids around Hogans age at our club - than Freo or West Coast, I think that helps our chances. Hogan will be a big name in football and he has every opportunity to become everything he could be - playing at MFC. You are 100% correct that we really do need get this coaching business sorted, I really pray we get Roos, he is that good.
