  1. Sacked in a calm and measured way?
  2. I think the depths that last night's performance plumbed to can be summed up by the fact that this morning, when I thought about the game, I genuinely felt sorry for the commentators who had to call it; fully appreciating that they were paid to do so.
  3. Clarkson and Hodge as an assistant?
  4. ET's mail, as ALWAYS, is right on the money!
  5. Not putting players in positions that don't suit them in the first place would be my definition of a great job.
  6. Interesting aspect you raise @binman. Less need for midfield rotations could be what's leaving Gus out in the cold.
  7. 6. Viney 5. Oliver 4. May 3. Petracca 2. Salem 1. Gawn
  8. 6 Gawn 5 Petracca 4 Viney 3 Oliver 2 Langdon 1 Weideman
  9. Yes, let's not forget that he was a very good footballer prior to the foot injury.
  10. No. Concussions, how they present and impact on individuals, are not all the same.
  11. Dave, let it go. The info coming back to me from sources in the industry support what @drysdale demon and @dazzledavey36 are getting at - it's highly unlikely and probably very unwise for Paddy McCartin to attempt a comeback.
  12. The way I see it the more things change the more they stay the same. You need 2 KPFs as a marking threat to draw opposition defenders: it makes space for the medium and small forwards to operate in more effectively. they may even mark it!
  13. Previously he was very quick, hasn't looked quick this year. However, watching the game on TV does makes it harder to pick up on the speed and extent of players' running patterns.
  14. Destination club ✅ - being 'irrelevant' means we can offer a certain degree of anonymity.
  15. No Breakfast Gin???
  16. Cognitive inflexibility in gamblers is primarily present in reward-related decision making.
  17. That's reminded me of an old joke...is your real-life name Luigi?
  18. Given the amount of confusing information surrounding COVID 19, does anyone know if the tests accurate enough within a 3-4 day time frame?
  19. Looks like it's going to be wet-weather (if it gets cold too we could be playing the druggies on ice) and they have a smallish fast forward line so: Lockhart for Smith Vandenberg for Jones (VDB fast enough to stop their run off half-back). Pickett, for ANB (harsh) Jackson for Weed (stronger body)
  20. Agree that he's often guilty of it. During the game he was regularly matched up on a much larger key forward. Not great a way to coach i out of him.
  21. Yes, guilty. However being matched up on a key position forward would draw you into the aerial contest.
  22. Hmm, not sure about that. Most of the weather patterns roll in from the left.
  23. Pruess
  24. If the rumours of him having a bung-knee are true then surely he's going to Hawthorn?
