Pick 28 for McAdam. I would say given ANB's consistency we would do better.

ANB has been a great clubman and player for us. Now it's all about maximising our return. We paid a 2nd rounder for McAdam and ANB is way better Imo.

Straight swap for Houston?

ANB plays a tough role and is under rated IMO. He will be very hard to replace. Straight swap for Houston if ANB really wants out. Houston is a good player but does not play the high pressure role that ANB plays.

Jeffersen for Melks

That is a good reason we need to use our earlyish 1st rounder and back in we get another A Grader.

IMO the best thing out of last night was the performance of Petty and Turner. Both ventured high and impacted. Good to see Turner taking a few marks and getting hands on a few ground balls. If Jeffo comes in and becomes a regular then Turner may go back if required. According to Nathan Brown Kolt is rated very high internally. Give him a pre season or 2 and he should be really good. Like to see more of Riv and McVee in the mid.

Dan plays well at HB. A pick early to mid 20's at best for a 28 year old HB.. Spending 1st rounders on 28 year old HB's a few years before Tassy comes in borders on stupidity. ANB is a way better player and does it in tougher field positions. Would you expect 2 1st rounders for ANB? Just some perspective.

Take TMc, B Brown, Melks and Tommo out and it will reduce the age factor a fair bit. None of the above are now guns. Probably BB and maybe Tommo or Melks out? I have seen Jeffersen play and he hits the packs hard going for marks and gets around the ground pretty well. I think he will make AFL for sure. Not saying he will be a Cameron but i reckon when he gets going he could hold his own against Port's Marshall and even if he goes really well the over rated Kings. I am pretty bullish on what Jeffersen is capable of.

Great report. Some superlatives through the summary. showed great speed and composure under pressure His silky skills, pressure acts and decision making were all features Mentha showed great pace If he continues that form we may have to cough up a pick in the 40's.

If Jeffersen comes up next year we have Petty or Turner to go back.
