That is the problem with team sport at the elite level. If all team members are not 'perfectly' aligned' with each other its a recipe for disaster. You could see how well GC executed their game plan yesterday. They worked exceptionally well supporting each other as a team

I think we will pick up once we get a few players back. ATM we have a number of new players in and it shows with a lack of cohesion. Having said that it will be very, very tough to make the 8. Its a long season. Hoping like 'hell' X's is not an ACL.

White likely will chose use as we have very few 200cm+ players. GC stacked with talls. Prasad next year. We do lack a potential gun KPB given May and Mc are not far off the sunset. Basic skill errors. Looked a rabble. Nedd huge 2nd q lift.

We have a 2nd rounder which will blow out and Toby Sinnema and very likely Kalani White. With Academy and Father sons compromising the draft we picks for those 2 will fall back. We do not know how they will shape up this year - hopefully good. We will have to trade picks in or maybe a player or 2 will want to be traded out?

Not worried about the votes. Was that a breakout game for Chandler? Sure looked like it. .Its taken a while but with some players when the penny drops it hits the turf with a thud. He now knows what he is capable of doing. If that is his new standard going forward I will take that loss and look forward to Kosi joining him up forward.

I read that Kalani will be playing more forward this season. That of course is wait and see.

Has a look at the AFL website suggested sides. GWS despite losing a few regulars looks very strong. The have Judd McVee in. I doubt he will be ok to play by round 1. I probably would have AJ on the IC. Probably TmC misses for me. Turner can go back if needed.

Trading for players is a gamble. You win some, you lose some. It's probably review and learn situation with each trade. Lately we have lost more than gained. Fortunately our recruiting/drafting has been good.

Hmmm, Langdon trialling as mid and Goody says we have found a nugget. He said similar after seeing Disco play a half forward in the VFL and played well in his 1st 2 AFL games. Having said that I think Langdon would be used as a 'mix it up' rotation with a few others as a mid.

A bit off topic but will Sinnema be eligible for us as an Academy pick next year? ... And Prasad the following year??? I have tried to find definitive answers but no luck.

I have seen Jeffo at training and he has the body size now. He will play games at AFL level this year for sure IMO. Not so sure whether it will be round 1 though.

Maybe something out of left field like Harvs or Langers or a combo Hangers.🤣

Saw Jeffo running laps and he is a good size now. Not sure when he will be right for full training but he will get his chance this coming season to play AFL. AJ looked pretty good in match sim. Gets has hands and knees dirty when the ball hits the ground. Took a good grab and kicked from just outside 50 with no problem. As you would expect he could not get near Campbell in the ruck. Competes well and has 2nd and 3rd efforts. We will know more when we have a full scale practice game or 2. As an aside Mentha looked ok. Quick, gets good position on the outside. Will need some VFL time. Has potential. Some regular track watchers said he has improved immeasurably since his 1st sessions.
