Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
manny100 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Rookie me scouting notes. Noah did pretty well in his last game. https://central.rookieme.com/afl/2024/04/10/scouting-notes-2024-coates-talent-league-round-3/ -
Well done Kolt. Start of a long career at the Dees. Agree with posters. We are not relying on the same side that won the big one in 21. Some quality players coming in.
-
TMc will not go forward until at least May is 100%. Even then i think his days forward are likely done plus he adds a bit back. Would not be surprised to see Kolt come in if Chandler (who played well) does not come up.
-
Congratulations Jack, great effort and more to come.
-
He has developed into one of our most consistent players. Great game.
-
Tholstrup and Sestan could develop into bulky tough mid/ Forwards.
-
Is it a coincidence we bring in BB and Petty and all of a sudden our forward efficiency improves? Likely big targets who can play straighten us up.
-
He and his Dad have been guests of the Dees a few times. Loves the Dees. I am pretty sure he will pick us. Jeff also has twin boys probably around 12/13 years old or so. One was selected for the State Team and the other picked up a B & F last season. So i would say Jason and the team are doing all the right things. I have a peek at Jeff White's X account from time to time. Started a Ruck Tuition business called First Use which features on his account X frequently. Dees get loads of mentions. Last season Kaliani got quite a few mentions.

I thought Judd Mc was good against the Swans.

Very good debut. We have found another player.

This thread is great. Indispenseable.

History says we do not make heaps of changes. Bowey provided run off half back. So Salem back although he was good as a mid. Fullarton for Schache. Don't be surprised if BB is brought in. Although Fullarton should be in the team IMO. Kosi in for Laurie. Maybe Sestan, AMW or K Brown in for either Chandler or Spargo. Likely Chandler. We can say K Brown is to light but that did not stop Bowey playing in a premiership team. It's a waiting game on some of our injured players to come back.

Hawkins took around 4 or 5 seasons to really make it. Gawn although a ruckman took 4 or 5 also. JVR is an exception to the rule. No many can do what he did at that age. Comparisons are unfair. Jeffersen needs at least another preseason under his belt. Given our number of tall forwards at Casey its good to give Jeffersen a go down back. As Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over expecting a different result. You just have to mix things up a bit.

Any one have Intel on the Bowey injury.. He was in top form before going down. Hope it's a get over it quick Injury.
-
Great news.😀
-
Any kick etc stats available?
-
Is Bowey OK? No concussion?
-
Yep, good pick up. Technically Jack is not in the bull category he is in the full on raging bull category lol. With 4 bulls who all can play to a high level...... no ceiling.
-
Lets hope Kolt and Sestan make the grade. With Trac that would be 3 bulls in the team.

The Dee's should be a little smarter. Demonland (DL) has a fair few 'readers' and posters. The Dee's should use DL to compliment (not relace just assist reach members/suppporters) for their communication and a little marketing. For example seats should be made available for DL updates at practice games. TheRE should be some access to players and staff for interviews during the year and after some games. Plenty of other things could be arranged. Its almost like a business who has access to a fair sized growing Data base nearby and does not use it. A good business would not let this happen. If the Dee's want an edge here it is - right under their noses. It would not be hard for the MFC to join forces and build Demonland in a real Dee's Army. My opinion only. Lets face it red hot suppoerters cant get enough Dee's information

I dont think its televised. Does Demonland have a rep there to provide updates to desperate DL forum members?? The club should provide stand seats for DL reps.

I do not support banning the bump but as long as the hit is on body and not the head. Also if the player could have tackled but elects to bump the body and the player is knocked out when his head hit the ground that should be a report. Pepper Powel will be suspended for sure. His arms were tucked in in the bump/hit position when he charged in so there was no intention to tackle at all. He elected to bump. That is obvious. Should get 4 to 6 weeks. It reminded me of the days when Brereton used to line players up and whammo - it was legal in those days and i believe its also not an historic offence.
-
He is playing at the elite level where split second decisions are what you are paid to make. He had time to tuck his shoulder in at full pace before hitting the player. Was he blindly running full pace at the pack not without care who he hit? There is no chance he will get off. Head high these days the assumption is guilt (except for Maynard).

Chose to bump, head hit so he is gone.

Good. Means Brown plays for sure. He kicked a couple against the Tigers. We have trouble kicking goals so he stays in. Apart from that Brown is more of a good reader of the play type rather than an opportunist. So he seems to be in the play a fair bit. He is quick, can tackle and evasive. Windsor plays as well.
