Comings and Goings
It seems as though our tall stocks are going to take a fair hit this off season with all of BBB, Schache, Tomlinson and Smith, likely to be moved on at seasons end. KFW might earn another year on the rookie list depending on how the club have seen his progress this season. Petty of course might also depart for SA. Sestan and Hore are probably likely than not to be retained. I can't see Hunter getting a new contract considering his recent injury issues. I'd imagine that TMac plays on for one more season.

Trade Targets
VICTORIAN clubs have a trade watch on Port Adelaide star Dan Houston, who is contracted to the Power for another three seasons. Houston has strong personal ties in Victoria, where he was drafted from the Oakleigh Chargers in 2015, but is signed to the Power until the end of 2027. The 27-year-old was last year named an All-Australian for the first time after a brilliant year with the Power and came third in the club's best and fairest. He has played every game this season and last week gathered 34 disposals and nine rebound-50s against Gold Coast. Melbourne has been linked among the clubs with interest in Houston, who clubs from Victoria have kept close tabs on through his career. Houston has played 163 games for the Power and is in the club's leadership group. He signed an extension with the club at the start of 2022 which runs for three more seasons. – Callum Twomey

Kozzie Pickett - 100 games
Great edit TMD! I bet there were 116 other goals that were unlucky to not make the cut. Kozzy is as exciting as anyone we've brought into the club over the last decade. I think the best is yet to come as well.

Part 5: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2017
I can't see him leaving this season. He still has another year on his contract and I don't think there'll be much interest considering his current injury issues.

Part 4: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2016
Wowzas, haven't heard the names McKenna, Johnstone and Filipovic for a long while. It's interesting looking back and seeing that we missed out on some serious ruck talent in that rookie draft. Hannan played some great footy for us in 17-18 (epic finals goal against the Cats included) before injuries took their toll alongside Jayden Hunt taking his spot in the forward line. He always struck me as a good solid clubman so I was happy to see that he played some good games at the Dogs before injury sadly ended his career. I remember him absolutely tearing Port Adelaide apart in the '21 prelim.

Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
I think it bodes well for his f/s draft chances if he's been given a run at Casey. If I can recall, we gave Kynan Brown a few weeks in the reserves last year as well.

Part 2: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2014
Love the series! I was always disappointed that Vanders' career with us was hit heavily by injury. Definitely one of my favourites from the last decade or so. Happy he got to be part of the '21 flag though, albeit off the field. Loved watching Jeffy Garlett back around the '15-'17 period as well. Played some very handy games for us in exchange for essentially a packet of chips.

Food at the Footy
I've been taking my own sandwiches/drinks/snacks etc into the 'G all season so far. At some point, you just have to ask yourself if it's worth lining up for 10 minutes just to spend $6 on a lukewarm pie. The only exception are the jam donuts outside the G following a win!

Angus Brayshaw Highlights - All 49 Goals
What a player. Hope Gus is doing ok at the moment.

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Tom Fullerton, Come on down! As big of a loss Max would be, it might make us a bit less predictable.

Kade Chandler Re-Signs for 3 Years
Really liked his game yesterday. Kept working hard up the ground and took a career high 8 marks (the late one on Reid was a particular highlight). Lines up for game 50 against the Bombers this weekend (alongside Kozzy for his 100th).

NON-MFC: Round 17
Big result at Docklands with the Saints upsetting the Swans Meanwhile, the Crows who are 8 points down have all the momentum against the Lions at the Gabba in the 3rd.
