  1. Yes agreed
  2. Yes it’s like we paid “42” for Billings !!!
  3. Very good selection. Windsor is the type of outside running midfielder player needed by the Dees. He likes to run with the footy and gets good “Metres” gained through “run and kick” footy. His pace is his biggest asset but what I also like is his desire to run and chase and tackle down opponents. He’s not silky skilled but it’s no weakness. Welcome aboard. Go Dees !!
  4. End of 2024 lots to outs and probably outs and possible outs Petty* Adelaide to throw their first round and second round to get Petty outs BBB x tmcd x Schache x Melksham x Farris-White x Probably out Tomlinson? Joel Smith? Laurie ? Possibly out Spargo? Verrell ? Thats 10 potential outs. Could be 7 list spots next year to refresh the talent.

  6. Welcome to the Melbourne Football Club Koltyn Throlstrup Likened to North Melbourne star Cam Zurhaar – but with more polish and composure – Tholstrup’s Draft Combine results also impressed –where he ranked second in the agility test and top 10 in the 2km time trial. Throlstrup showed serious talent including playing 10 league games for Subiaco, an experience he thinks “gives me a little advantage” over his fellow draft prospects. He also made a statement on the national stage to remind the footy world why he’s in the first-round mix. He averaged 19 disposals, six marks and seven score involvements for WA in the national championships, with one particular performance against South Australia a standout. It included several key moments, with a highlight smother, a good contested mark and a classy late-game goal. He finished with 1.1 from 20 disposals, eight marks and four inside 50s in a strong game
  7. I thought it was Xmas … Windsor and could grab Leake. But happy with Tholstrup. Hes got good aggression and loves the contest. .
  8. Leake or Tholstrup??
  9. Wow. Start time 6:45. No it’s starting 7:28.
  10. Are they still serving pre draft cocktails??
  11. Please not Nick Watson. We had the original Wizard. Watson is a small one position forward pocket. He was not effective in the midfield this year as shown in the GF. Sure he’s got tricks but we have Kozzy and need more midfield or key back youngsters like Curtin, Sanders, Leake, O’Sullivan or Windsor.
  12. Chess and Sudoku all wrapped up in secrets and lies. Welcome to AFL draft night !!!! Every recruiting team is super happy with their choices … of course !!!
  14. James Jordon comp- end of 2nd round “42” Cal says Melbourne's pick 42 going to St Kilda for a F3 2024 If Saints finish say 8th again , that’s about pick 52 after next years father son and academy picks. Trading down to a future draft 🤔🤣😤🤡❤️😤🤡🤔hmmmmm? I thought offer to Port for F2 2024. They need to get lower in this draft (!!!)
  15. Still cannot believe Curtin could drop to pick 10 through to the Cats. Madness!!! He’s got so much talent and versatility. If I was Kangas, I’d take Curtin and Mckercher.
  16. Agree @DeeSpencer Windsor impressed both using his pace to go forward and run, plus run down opponents. Reminds of Max Holmes in style of play.
  17. Why Watson? Small one position forward pocket type. We have Kozzzy. We need players like Sanders, Duursma, Leake, O’Sullivan, Curtin, Windsor, Caddy … all ahead of Watson in my view.
  18. Hope for 6 Sanders or Curtin 11 Windsor, Leake Or O’Sullivan Looks like it will be as many journalists and Cal prediction 6 Windsor 11 Tholstrup
  19. 26 in the academy. 5 of them are under team academy. Then 3 father sons. That leaves 18/26 as “available”. Harvey Langford was very good this year for Stingrays. Strong taller mid with good left foot disposal. Not overawed in the contest even as an underager this year.
  20. It’s likely to be traded out for a future 2024 2nd or 3rd round. I’d be speaking with the Power. They’d like a draft pick around this late second round. A future 2nd rd pick off them is reasonable. (Read somewhere that Dees might try to use “42” to get us a future 3rd off from Saints / around pick 50-52 in next years draft after academy and fathers sons. Thats a bad deal).
  21. Sanders. Elite skills. Good pace. Decision making. He’s got star quality !! Hope he gets through to the Dees.
  22. Will be this years wildcard pick. Could prove to be the best player in this draft alongside Reid … or lose his desire and be delisted after 2 years.
  23. 6 Hanks 5 B Mackin 4 West 3 Gay 2 Goldrick 1 Zanker apologies to Pearce. Battled hard. Better at handballing. Terrible kick. If she could convert her goal opportunities, we’d have won.
  24. Girls huge last quarter ❤️❤️ Pearce miss by 2 metrs left so close that hurts !!! umps were 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
  25. ZANKER ❤️❤️❤️❤️
