  1. V Freo. Nil. V Pies. Nil. v Kangas. 3 votes for Viney, 2 LDU, 1 Rivers. May deserved votes but it’s always biased towards players in the midfield. The projected votes have Gawn between 13-15 Trac around 9-10 May possibly 8 votes JV7 possibly 7votes
  2. Any interest ? Out of favour midfielder Deven Robertsonpushed hard for another chance at the top level with a game-high 33 disposals, a game-high 10 clearances and five tackles
  3. 6 May 5 Viney 4 Rivers 3 Gawn Now it’s getting harder … 2 Sparrow 1 ANB
  4. 44. 23mfc 12casey Ben Brown - mystery TBC Marty Hore — calf / 1 - 2 weeks Jake Lever — knee / 1 - 2 weeks Jake Melksham — knee / 2 - 3 weeks Tom Fullarton -tbc Lachie Hunter - calf 2-3 weeks Charlie Spargo — Achilles / TBC Christian Petracca — spleen / indefiniteJake Js29- interim suspension
  5. Kynan is a bits and pieces player. Maybe small but shows heart. Nothing of note in his VFL games so unsure why he gets promoted. Marketing? Hope he has a good game.
  6. Dees should target young Angus Sheldrick from the Swans. Had good games in 2023 including a rising star nomination. Showed form as good as Gulden and Warner etc. but then a few injury ended his year. This year again unable to crack into Swans line up this year due to injuries (finger and now ankle injury) the fact they are overloaded with mids. Had 4/5 games in VFL and starred each week He is contracted to end 2025 but I’d definitely get in the phone to his manager. Like to see Dees consider him. He’s only 21, drafted pick 18 in 2021 draft. Strong with good pace and very good left foot disposal.
  7. It won’t happen because of the Goodwin stubbornness In - Fullerton, Tholstrup, AMW, Lever, Woewodin Out - Trac (injured), Laurie, Turner, Billings, Chandler B - McVee, May, Lever HB - Salem, McDonald, Rivers C - Langdon, Oliver, Windsor HF - Sparrow , Petty, Tholstrup F - Pickett, van Rooyen, Fritsch RUCK - Gawn, Viney, ANB INT - Bowey, Woewodin, Howes, Fullarton 23rd - ANW
  8. Agree Picket with ageing stars May, and Gawn, then the late 20s stars of Viney, Lever, Trac, Clarry, Salem, ANB, Lingers Youngsters need to elevate themselves… Rivers, Fritsch, McVee, Pickett
  9. Our style of play is haphazard at best. It’s not the results so much but the horrible skills and overhandballing and lack of forward craft. Defence has held us only so far.
  10. Seriously frustrated by the way Goodwin drips Woey and Tomlinson yet puts games into Hunter, Billings, Laurie, Schache etc. They are not part of our future. Quick list update and revision key defenders: May, Petty, Tomlinson (if he stays), Adams tall defenders: Lever, D.Turner, Hore. med/sml/running defenders: Rivers, Bowey, Salem, Mcvee, Howes inside Mids: Petracca, Oliver, Viney, Sparrow outside Mids: Langdon, Woey jnr (if he stays) , Windsor key forwards: JVR, Jefferson, Fullarton , Kentfield tall forwards: Fritsch, Sestan small forwards: ANB, Pickett, Chandler, Throlstrup, AMW, K.Brown Rucks: Gawn Verrell thats 33 End of 24- retirements: TMCD, Melksham, BBB Delist: Schache, JS29, Farris-white Must be delisted ( but probably won’t): Hunter, Spargo, McAdam, Laurie , Billings. Offer nil nudda nothing.
  11. Serious questions already should be asked. Lose next week and we can kiss finals goodbye for 2024. We have a tough draw and can see us winning 3-4 more games only at this time.
  12. Jack Billings. What were we thinking. We helped the Saints with a salary dump and got a small ineffective declining player who offers nothing to our list. We had small forwards. His skills are very average and goalkicking is poor to be fair. Defensively poor. Tackling is weak. His attempted marking spoil was Harrison on Monday was symbolic. Ran, looked, “stopped”, then sought of tried. Then walked away. He is a barely a shadow of a player now. My no no no call remains.
  13. Even in wet wintery conditions, you can see the talent within this years group. Vic Metro especially has a long list of talented youngsters. Majority will be drafted or rookied once again. Levi Ashcroft will be a star. A gift for the Lions. Absolutely like his brother. Jagga Smith is also the likely number 2 or 3 live pick. He is exactly the quality young midfielder needed by the Dees. Saw the youngster Patrick Retschko again and he looked impressive to win the footy and perhaps not as super talented, he reminded me in style of a young Petracca. He could be a pick around the 35/40 mark and one of the JT diamonds. (shhhhhh)
  14. You push him harder and harder over the summer. If he can’t run and he can’t bend, then he would have made his own decision by February. I like BBB but this is no way to crawl in your last year. Maybe time for crystals and magnets to nurse him through.
  15. Thats the season done. Rest up and recover Trac. Your health is the priority. Time to perfect more recipes apart from just meatballs.
  16. Yes that’s the footy department that wins inside 50s count for 3 years as a team but has constant “forward of centre” issues with scoring and conversions and says we are working on it uses James Jordon as a sub for 11 times in a season and refuses to give him game time and queries why he departs when his contract expires recruits Grundy and after 9 weeks says that’s enough, experiment over recruits Shane McAdam as an injury riddled 28 year old after 50 games in 8 years recruits Hunter and Billings as ineffective, butter like, small non physical players to assist the salary dump from other clubs signs Laurie up for a 2yr extension as he shows nothing for 3 years and is way off becoming a league player alienates Tomlinson by playing him for one game, he plays well and gets dropped whilst others have 6-7 weeks of poor form and stay in alienates Woey jnr by playing him as a sub for 5/6 weeks and then dropping him whilst others are worse and keep getting games (Chandler, Billings, Hunter) pushes Tom Sparrow up as a next gen midfielder but his skills and ballhandling and run is deteriorating Pursues Petty as a key forward despite him being a premiership key defender Turning young Turner from a competent defender into a flawed forward option Keeping an aged Ben Brown on one leg and a dodgy back for another year Thank god we don’t have a voice at the footy department!!!
  17. V Pies. Centre clearances 6 - 14 🤮🤮 Tackles 49-69🤢🤢 Dees. 6 goals. 47 inside 50s. 13%🤡 Pies 14 goals. 50 inside 50s. 28%.Goalkicking again was poor 🤨 Final stats. Score 51-89 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

The Goodwin era Home and away numbers 2017: 12 wins, 10 losses 2018: 14 wins, 8 losses Finals 2 wins 1 loss 2019: 5 wins, 17 losses 2020: 9 wins, 8 losses 2021: 17 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses Finals 3 wins 🏆 2022: 15 wins, 6 losses Finals 2 losses 🤮🤮 2023: 16 wins, 7 losses Finals. 2 losses🤮🤮 2024: 7 wins, 6 losses today was a bad bad loss v Pies At full strength (excl Lever) versus a Pies side missing 6-7 best 18 players. We got humbled and frankly humiliated again. Earlier this year Goody kept saying it was about making the supporters really PROUD to support the Dees. Well it’s quickly moved to us members and supporters being disappointed, disheartened and embarrassed.
  19. Rivers was ok. Just some fine tuning. Needs to keep running and running and kicking. Forget the handballs to no one
  20. It’s about looking after and supporting your mates
  21. Agree. Tim Lamb 🪓 Greg Stafford 🪓
  22. Yes he has little impact. Gets it. Kicks to nothing or no one. Helicopter mongrel punts. Or a floating handballs to players under worse pressure. Love Clarry as a heart and soul but decisions and skills are D grade right now. Coaches need to coach him. Yes coach.
  23. Rebuild starts in round 15.
