Hateley was drafted with decent form as a junior but never showed enough at the Giants or Crows. Never seemed to find a spot. He looked off pace or lacking intensity whenever I saw him play. Still in the unfulfilled potential basket perhaps.

Agree I’m a fan of AMW. I think he is worth a chance to debut this year. His tackling (from his rugby background) is very good so he should adapt to the pressure.

Scott is a tool. He lost but likely gave his players 5 vote and 4 vote outcomes. Coaches votes are a joke.

V the cats, like to see either May or Lever in the votes. With the Dees win, likely it’s 3-S.May 2- M.Holmes 1- M.Gawn so projected votes have Gawn between 10-12votes, Trac around 6-8votes , May on potentially 6-7 votes and Clarry modestly on 2-3 votes.

Lots of ticks for JT. He’s been a big part of our success. Not just the first rounders like Trac, Gus, Clarry, LJ & kozzzy but guys like Fritta, Petty, Rivers, Bowey that have really shown out as great picks. McVee also a rookie bonus. Some busts of course like Weid and Rosman however cannot complain at all with out drafting.

Very happy with Windsor. Would have grabbed Darcy Wilson ahead of the Kolt but can see why JT opted for the Kolt. Got something about him. Just needs the year to develop his footy more. Class of 23 is very strong. Class of 24 is as good or better in my view.

Again MFC being conservative with players. Brown, Hore, Schache, Hunter all saved in case they are called up for Thursday night. Unlikely except for Hunter who may come in. Certainly robbed Casey of 3-4 more senior players. AMW had a good game imv. He has developed well and I think he thoroughly deserves a debut shortly. Good intensity and tackling. Wins rhe contested footy. 1-2 turnovers but that’s not unlike others including our senior group. Certainly offers more than Billings or Laurie in my opinion. Otherwise good chance for some Casey youngsters to get game time. And for talents like Roy George. Edwards also looked classy in patches.
