Darwin game dumped
Good call. Have one game in NT at Alice Springs versus either of Giants, Dockers or Suns. It’s still good $$ as against a loss making game at the G. Now no more home games at Marvel.

Josh Jenkins
I’m not a huge fan of Jenkins but think he would be a handy back up or relief type ruck role. Cats would get a bargain here. Cats to give future 2020 4th round pick to Crows to Jenkins. That’s about pick 70 next years draft. It’s grounded up peanuts. (similar bargain deal for hawks to get Patton for future 4th round pick. Steal).

Are we plotting a late heist?
option 1 ... keep 3 & 8. Likely pick #3 Hayden Young and #8 Brodie Kemp or Dylan Stephens Giants will want Tom Green and could vslue move to pick 3 option 2 ... trade 3 to Giants for pick 6 and 2020 1st round GWS pick. Use pick 6 on who is available from Young, Serong, Ash or Kemp. Use pick 8 on Stephens

Are we plotting a late heist?
Sounds like a plan. I like it. Split 3 into 6 and GWS 1st round pick in 2020

2019 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
Agree. I need to be an actuary to work it out

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Need to amend. Looks like good dealing with Tomlinson but he was free agent. 1- free agency. Tomlinson 2- trading ... looks slightly impacted I would leave the future outs and ins but call it as the picks flow. ie ins - future 2nd round Hawks , future 4th round Freo outs - future MFC 2nd round, future MFC 4th round

2019 Player Reviews: #9 Charlie Spargo
Exactly. Not a midfielder. Not a small forward. Doesn’t have the tools, strength, skills, pace to make it imo. Smarts ok. But need to get the footy first.

THE TRADING CHRONICLES 2019

Farewell to Our First Pick in 2020
I think it’s pick 3 and Dees 2nd round 2020 pick (Hawks 2020 2nd round pick) for pick 6 and Giants 1st round 2020 pick

Are we plotting a late heist?
Unlikely to grab any fish

Sparrow, Jordan and Nietschke
Nietschke was a speculative pick. I saw SA under 18s In 2 games in 2018 and didn’t notice him. Sparrow reminds me of a young Todd Viney. He’ll be a chance once he builds his engine. Physically ready to go. Jordan was always looking likely especially after his end to 2018 saw him escalating from a rookie chance to likely draftee to eventually be top 35. Skilled and good run.
- Time for the MFC to grow a pair and take a risk.

Jacks already been persecuted. Don’t destroy him a second time.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Yes Agree that Langdon has worked to deliver speed and endurance. I still think Hunt can get there. 2020 will be a big season for Jayden. OOC at end 2020.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Strange! But not surprising. Langdon doesn’t wear a headband. More of a “man-bun”.

McCartney Opens Up On Demons Exit
He’s a politician. BM will reappear in footy circles and has a lot to offer.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Good call. Got to start asking the question
-
Are we done now?
Interesting to see what we do with Jkh. Not mentioned in any trade news and I believe he is out of contract. He could be some value to the Crows given their max exodus. Maybe a pick in the 60s. Port power have a few picks they may wish to give up It’s likely we would look at a delisted free agent or consider the pre season draft.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Can’t help but think Langdon and Jayden Hunt are very similar players. We need to get these two using their pace and run. Hunt can be wasted down forward and I’d like to see him also considered for the wing position. I’d like to think Langdon on a wing has the licence to run.

Two heavyweights at battle. Taylor and Spargo.
